After years of searching for a color than can lift just a bit, I have found the PERFECT color! It's as close to my hair color as I've ever seen! I naturally have the caramel colors throughout my hair. Hard to mimic, but this gets the job done! Never switching colors again, I hope they never stop making this! Saving me hundreds every month!

6/28 Update: My original review was for U163 Hi-Lift Golden Brown. I used it twice and the first time I ended up with a beautiful color. The second time I used it, it lightened even more which I loved. Then I made the mistake of trying the "Lightest Golden Brown" which messed it all up. Lightest Golden Brown isn't light golden brown. It's brown. Plain, dull, fairly dark brown. It's not pretty. The colors on the box show it should have been lighter than the shade I had so now I have to go back and start over to get the lighter color I want. Really not happy. Through the pandemic, I've gotten pretty good at coloring my own hair. I've tried a lot of different brands and colors and I absolutely love this one. I chose Golden Brown and it brings my darker brown hair to a beautiful golden color that looks like I've added highlights. So pretty. This is my new favorite.

Though my grey does come through after about 3 weeks, I love the natural look of this color. It’s easy to use. And... the conditioner is fabulous! I even have conditioner to use for a couple of additional washes. I like to professionally cut and highlight my hair every 5-6 months, and this color helps cover the grey In between without looking like boxed dye.

I have medium brown hair. I normally use colors 5G and 6G. I apply 6G and then add 5G in streaks. I bought this hoping to achieve the sun-kissed highlights. I ended up with a darker strawberry blonde color. I waited 10 days and applied the colors I usually use. My hair still looks orangier than normal. I had high hopes. I will stick to my normal colors and be happy.

I like adding highlights to my hair in random areas for a natural appearance. This product makes it so easy to apply. I get many comply and questions about the color and highlights.
