I was trying to build a deck in order to connect the garage door to the back door, and while it works very well and looks beautiful, I strongly recommend that there be a solid concrete base underneath. Once you have that base, snapping the pieces together is very easy. One caution: before you buy the end pieces, check to make sure whether you need male or female pieces (you’ll understand this when you get the items). That way you can make it all fit together and look beautiful.
