Works great, fits great, looks cool!
I used this during a recent week of snorkeling in the Galapagos, and LOVED it. I wore it over my 3mm full-length wetsuit (which just happened to have the same black and blue colors), and it looked more like a tactical piece of Navy SEAL gear than a "grown-up floatie." I had several people ask me if I was a scuba diver because my gear was so good. I kept it pretty much deflated most of the time on my snorkels, only putting a little air in if the seas were really rough or if I paused for a minute here and there on longer snorkels and just bobbed casually in the water. I'm 5'9", a slender/athletic 145 pounds, 34AAA, and the size small fit great. I had it cinched down snugly at the waist and shoulders, and it didn't ride up or shift around. It was a great security blanket to have - not just for myself, but I knew that I'd also be in a position to help anyone else who might get into trouble as well, since I wouldn't have to focus on keeping myself afloat and could just focus on helping someone else who might be struggling.

WILL NOT SNORKEL WITHOUT IT
For anyone who has snorkeled before, you know how ill-fitting the vests are that are provided by the tour companies. After our second cruise, I decided to research different types of snorkel vests, and I came upon the Seaview Palawan. The overall design and ease of use really appealed to me; it is unique. Since we plan to continue snorkeling in the years to come, I decided to splurge and purchase it. The vest is fabulous! I can quickly inflate and deflate, and I can choose the level of desired inflation. I have used this vest on the past two cruises, for a total of seven individual snorkel excursions, so I can feel confident about writing a solid review for this product. SIZING/FIT: It is crucial to follow the sizing guidelines on the website to ensure a proper fit. The size ranges from Small to Extra Large. In general, you do not want the bottom of the vest to sit too high on your torso; ideally the vest should cover your abdomen. There are straps to adjust on the top of the shoulders and around the waist. Once the straps are properly adjusted, you then pull the vest snuggly together on your left side and secure shut with the Velcro and buckles. You want the vest to fit very snug around your waist and shoulders because this will help to prevent it from riding up your torso while snorkeling. NOTE: For those with rotund abdomens, it may be difficult getting this vest to fit properly. And, if you are large busted, I recommend sizing up (I got the Medium size). EASE OF USE: Unbuckle and open the Velcro straps, put your right arm in and pull over your head. To inflate the vest, hold the tube and push down the top piece (squeezing the two pieces together); blow in to achieve the desired level of inflation. To deflate the vest, hold the tube and push down on the top portion – the air will flow out easily (you can do this while in the water as well if you want to adjust the inflation level). It only takes seconds to inflate and deflate. To fully deflate, simply push on the different air compartments on the front of the vest until it is completely flat. I have used this vest in both calm and wavy conditions and it has always kept me fully afloat. Another great feature of this vest is how portable it is; perfect for travel! Once it is completely deflated it folds into a compact sized square that easily fits back into the carrying bag. After each use, rise the vest in fresh water and hang to dry. For the excursions, we place it into our water bag with our other snorkeling gear, and it does not take up much space at all. DURABILITY: I have snorkeled with this vest for the last two years, on seven separate snorkeling trips. It is still working and fitting great with no concerns. The overall quality of stitching and materials is superb! The back of the best is soft neoprene, which is a very durable material. As with everything, just take good care of it and you should not have any problems. FINAL THOUGHTS: This vest has been a game changer type of product for me. We cruise every year, specifically for the snorkeling opportunities. And we plan to visit resorts where will also be snorkeling frequently. I am not a strong swimmer and have never felt fully comfortable/confident with the provided vests. However, since using this vest, from the very first time, I am completely confident in the water now, even when it is wavy. I enjoy it so much, that I probably would not snorkel if I did not have it with me. Everyone else in the water will look like floating boobs, with their vests riding above their heads, but if you have this vest, you will be very comfortable! I always get comments about it.

Thought I'd never snorkel again until I got this vest
I love this snorkel vest! It has saved me from the fear of drowning I developed after two scary incidents I had in the water while snorkeling. I became fatigued and worried I wouldn't make it back to shore. With this vest on I feel safe and secure! I'm 5'5", weigh 115 # and the small fits perfectly. It's very adjustable on the sides with Velcro and two buckles and the shoulders adjust with straps. Very easy to inflate and deflate even while wearing it. It doesn't ride up if properly adjusted. Easy to put on and take off. Very flat when deflated and easy to pack in a suitcase. Also came with a pouch. It keeps my chest warm in the water which is an added bonus. I worried it might look goofy but it really doesn't and I'm not at all self conscious wearing it. I will never snorkel again without it. Great product!

Worth it! I can not imagine buying a different one.
I am a beginning snorkeler in Lake Superior. For me, the water can be cold and get choppy in seconds. I have been playing around with snorkeling for two seasons now and decided it was time to move away from bringing a life jacket when I needed extra support. I have swum in this twice now and am so much more confident in my abilities because this steadies me so well. Though this jacket is really well made (soft velcro, flat seems) THIS IS NOT A LIFE JACKET. It is really important that everyone recognizes this isn't a life-saving device, I take pride in my water safety but again, this has made me so much more confident. I inflate it just slightly the whole time and I am steady in the waves and pop up really smoothly. I also am more comfortable "bobbing" in the water just kicking my flippers and my head stays well above the water for short periods of time. I have also messed around trying to reinflate this while in the waves. Its a bit tricky and I suggest some practice where your comfortable before going too far as when you undo the valve the water pressure pushes air out. But I have my timing down now and can easily add extra air. I am 5"4" and 170#, I average a 38D. I purchased a Medium, it fits very comfortably and has plenty of room to let out or take in still. The sleek design looks great over my NRS hydroskin 1.5MM jacket, I forget I am wearing it in the water. I gave this a 4 instead of 5 for two reasons. 1) when mine inflates, it doesn't look like the image. It is one flat cell that inflates, it's not ridged. I still think the air distributes evenly and holds well. 2) I really wish it had a bright color on it. I like the black, this vest is 100% more attractive than any other snorkeling "vest" on the market but in the water, who cares what you look like, I want to be seen should I ever need help. I did purchase an inflatable dive buoy to help with this. Overall, super happy to own this item.

Essential Gear for a Fantastic Snorkeling Experience!
I recently purchased the Seaview Palawan Inflatable Snorkel Vest, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! This vest has completely transformed my snorkeling adventures. The design is incredibly user-friendly and comfortable, providing just the right amount of buoyancy without feeling bulky. The adjustable straps ensure a perfect fit, and the vest inflates easily with a simple blow of air, offering great control over buoyancy. It’s perfect for both beginners and experienced snorkelers. I especially appreciate the added safety it provides, allowing me to focus more on enjoying the underwater world rather than worrying about floating issues. The quality of the material is impressive—durable and well-constructed, withstanding multiple outings without any signs of wear. Plus, the bright colors make it easy to spot in the water, which is a great safety feature. Overall, the Seaview Palawan Inflatable Snorkel Vest is a fantastic investment for anyone who loves snorkeling. It delivers on comfort, safety, and functionality. Highly recommended!

You won’t regret it
These snorkel vests are well worth the money! You don’t have to fight to keep it out of your face like you do with the cheap ones so you are able to enjoy your snorkeling. Very comfortable. Buoyancy is easily adjustable even in the water. Packs pretty flat or folds up in a bag. Was able to pack in my carry on for a weeks trip to Roatan. Definitely recommend it if you don’t like the cheap vests supplied by most snorkeling trip operators.

Palawan Inflatable Snorkel Vest
This inflatable snorkel vest is great. Well made, adjustable fit, easy to put on or take off. Instructions for inflation and delaflation of the vest are included . Allows you to stay in the water snorkeling without worrying about getting tired or depth of water. Adjustable air valve on vest allows you to let air out if you want to dive and can be reinflated by blowing air back in valve to reinflate. Vest looks good too . Will fit in luggage for travel. Highly recommend.

The Best, Most Reliable Vest for Snorkeling Simplicity
The Seaview Palawan Inflatable Snorkel Vest is, without a doubt, the best vest of its type I have found for recreational snorkeling. It hits the sweet spot for safety and comfort, offering superior buoyancy without the bulk or complication of scuba gear. My highest appreciation for this product is its design philosophy: it's the perfect choice if you don't want to deal with a pull cord/CO2 tank setup. The manual inflation system is simple, reliable, and easily adjustable with just a few breaths, letting you perfectly balance your flotation. The vest is comfortable, secure, and provides all the safety confidence you need without the unnecessary expense or maintenance of cartridges. This vest is essential gear for any serious snorkeler.

Excellent. Provides a feeling of being safe.
I really felt comfortable and safe wearing this snorkel vest as I am not a strong swimmer. It is much better than a "life jacket" that I have been given to wear by the tour operators on some of our snorkeling trips. And, as a bonus, it looks quite professional and a lot better than some of those cheap fluorescent snorkeling vests that constantly ride up!

Great quality and versatile
This unique snorkeling vest fits well with great adjustments. I’m a lazy surface snorkeler and this beats travelling with ‘noodles’. Quality seems very good and note that the vest can ‘ride up’ when vertical in the water, this is not an issue when actually swimming.

Well designed and made
Used for snorkelling. Functioned as described. Seems to be well designed and manufactured.

Absolutely terrible kept filling with water
The previous one I bought was fantastic but this jacket bought for a snorkelling trip just filled with water straight from new . We are stuck in the islands of the Maldives so can’t return it . I’m so disappointed as it’s was not cheap to begin with . Terrible

Failed on first use
Although I bought this item 18 months ago, I never used it ( due to worldwide travel restrictions) except to try it on and inflate it ( which was all good ) after the pandemic was over and I travelled again I went to use this on a snorkelling trip in the Philippines. I’m fairly particular about my gear so tried it again (inflation) before my trip, it was good again. I packed it flat in my suitcase and on the boat it was stowed in my dry bag with snorkel gear. When I tried to inflate it….nothing….then my partner felt air coming from the front of the vest & we saw that the valve had split around the joint. I was really disappointed as this was its first real use in the field. Guess that a refund or replacement is out if the question due to the timeframe since I purchased it. I can’t even seem to find a contact on the Amazon storefront. So if you’re reading this wildhorn, I’d appreciate your thoughts as to why this happened? I’m quite careful with my gear and look after it, but this just failed outright.
