Great sauce, great taste, great heat!
Like others, I found an interest in hot sauces because of "Hot Ones". I tried looking for the hottest sauces in supermarkets but couldn't find anything hotter than Tabasco. The reviews for this sauce were good and the zombie label looks badass so I ordered it. When I received it, I decided to try it by licking the lid label which had a drop or 2 of sauce. It was pretty hot. I got a bit sweaty and the tingly feeling stayed in my mouth for 15 minutes. I brought it to work and bought some buffalo wings to share with my co-workers. what I learned was that the sauce isn't as hot when you eat it with food. I put a few dabs on a buffalo wing and I was completely fine and I wanted more. Taste wise it's very distinct. Ironically I wouldn't say that this tasted great with the buffalo wing, but I put a few dabs on some chicken mesquite w/ beans and it tasted pretty good. I also tried it on some eggs and it was okay. Generally I'd say it's quite "Habanero-ish" so maybe sea foods or red meat would taste best for this sauce. Each time that I try this sauce I find myself putting more and more. I'd compare it to regular habanero sauce but with better flavor.

Amazing taste and tolerable heat
The sauce is made with habanero and ghost peppers and is not diluted with vinegar. This means that the heat is upper level habanero but less than ghost. The heat lingers for a little less than five minutes and then lets go. You won't be drinking a gallon of milk and regretting life choices an hour after tasting. Speaking of taste, this may be one of the best tasting pepper sauces I have had. The habanero flavor really comes through.

Delicious and about as hot as anyone should want it
Came back to note: I've managed to convince myself its "reasonable" to spend 10 or 12 on a little bottle of hotsauce. Absurd, but I do it. $18 f'ing dollars is prohibitively expensive. WTF, Torch Bearer? Your site is no better, $15 plus $6 shipping!? I wanna recommend this awesome stuff but people will look at me like im an a-hole for recommending a $20 bottle of hotsauce. It is ALMOST worth it, but for the record---i came here to buy a couple bpttles (have bought several before) and will not be purchasing more. At first this stuff was nearly too hot for me...but it tastes so good I keep using it. Came back to order bottle #4 and figured I owed them a review for making such a good sauce. While it is more of a "pepper sludge" consistency, it is blended very smooth. It is amazing on burgers, roasted potatoes, and fries. Oh and some got on some cornbread and that was great, too actually. If you know anyone who talks a big hot sauce game---give em a spoonful of THIS stuff. I don't know of any hotter sauce. This is the end of the line lol. Everything else that might be hotter is just gimmick, intentionally burning and no real flavor. This sauce is really tasty...you just need to really like hot hot hot to enjoy it. This is a different animal from Alvins yellow, Sauce Bae, Spicey Shark....those are all great but for the heat factor-- this one is SOO much hotter. Highly recommended if you can afford $20 on a bottle of hot sauce!!!

Really good flavor.
Having gone through about half the bottle, I think I have an adequate opinion on this sauce now. Firstly, if you're new to hot sauce, don't be scared off when you see ghost chilies in the ingredients. Don't get me wrong, Zombie Apocalypse is hot, but not painful. It's not nearly as hot as I was expecting. The flavor is quite nice, in my opinion. It honestly reminds me of Buffalo Sauce in a lot of ways. It's a thick sauce and doesn't have an overpowering vinegar flavor. One thing I would change would be adding a little more mandarin orange to it. That's what really enticed me to buy this when I saw it in the ingredients list, but honestly, I don't find it at all when I use it. It could just be the batch my bottle came from, but I think more of the mandarin orange would have been nice. The heat is good when it hits and dissipates quickly, so you're not left in agony after you finish your meal. It's more of a pleasant tingle followed by a nice wave of heat. It's hot without being so much that you can't enjoy your food. I did try tossing some chicken wings with this and it doesn't overpower the taste of the chicken at all. Pork sliders also came out really well. Adding it to pizza right out of the bottle is good, too. Everyone's taste is going to be different, but I'd say Zombie Apocalypse is definitely worth trying. I'll be ordering again.

Deliciously thicc!
Heat: 3-4/10 This sauce has some nice heat, that isn't overwhelming by any means. Just a nice warm burn all over the tongue and a bit in the throat. If you're not used to a full mouth burn like that, it might catch you off guard a bit. This one did make me sweat, despite not being particularly hot. Flavor: 10/10 This is one tasty sauce. I swear i could taste coriander despite it not being an ingredient, but all flavors of the ingredients really shined on this one. I think the subtlety of the vinegar flavor really made this one stand out, which i personally prefer. This one had me going back for a second spoon full. Consistency: This one has a bit of a mash texture with lots of solids in it. You'll find some seeds and light pulp from the ingredients in there, so if you don't dig that type of thing, make sure you're putting it on something that will hide the texture. Personally, this is right up my alley. Oh, also, it's not an easy pour, so be careful trying to shake some out or you might get more than you mean to. Overall: I will keep a stock of this in my cupboard for sure, without a doubt. I'm already considering ordering another few bottles. I personally recommend anyone that likes things nice and warm to pick this stuff up, post-haste.

solid hot sauce
I took this sauce first by itself on a spoon prob like 4 drops and it was hot like very hot kinda like on the brink of the hottest my level can tolerate and basically stayed at that spot for a good 5 mins. the flavor is good but it's not my preference I would say it's like a good piano chord tho notes of flavor come in timely manner. I get the citrus the sweet, carrot, the flavors all come in a good order and you can really taste it all detailed and the spice comes in at the end. it's a thicker sauce you can taste bits. so then i ate this sauce with food instead and ill tell you its a bit diff. the heat is still high but i have to use a good amount and the heat isnt there as long so thats cool. I give this sauce a 8.5/10. I prefer my hot sauce to be sweet but if you like more citrus vinegar this is it. I'm going on a hunt for the best and spiciest hot sauces, (done with da bomb, and Dave's gourmet I forgot which one) so far so good this was worth the grab. thanks i would recommend. peace!

convention-defying combination of flavor and heat
I worked in the sauce packaging industry for about 4 years, and got to taste a lot of sauce. Most little sauce brands out there are just re-branded private label versions of bigger brands, often with no changes at all. Otherwise itโs usually just watering down ingredients. When I see a sauce boasting 500,000+ scoville, I usually just roll my eyes. These hotter sauces are almost always flavorless abominations. This Zombie Sauce is an exception. The sauce tastes so good you might not even notice just how hot it is at first. You wonโt need to use much, but you CAN without ruining the dish. This sauce defies the usual tradeoff between flavor and heat. If you want a flavorful hot sauce you can use on just about anything, this is a great choice. If you just want to torture yourself with the most hellishly hot sauce available, this isnโt it.

Great flavor!
Ghost peppers are my favorite chilis, and this sauce is packed with their heat and flavor! I've been eating it with eggs and spam for breakfast, it adds some nice heat and flavor to the mix. Highly recommend, but not for the faint of heart.

Great flavor, sanitize and be cautious around your pets.
Well, prior to this I had ordered the High River Rogue sauce (from Hot Ones S2). That one had Scorpion Peppers and a bit of Ghost and Serrano. Needless to say, this Bhut Jolokia sauce is weird to compare to the High River. It's hotter and it lingers - on your tongue, fingers etc. The flavors are both great and extract free, gluten free so I would say tie. Maybe a slight edge to HRR because with this sauce you taste peppers and no fruit. Zombie Apocalypse has a more favorable consistency. Its very thick. Zombie Apocalyse was great on wings but seeing as how it has Ghost Peppers WASH YOUR HANDS! 5 TIMES! Then sanitize and don't touch your pets. It lingers for a long time. Its hiccup hot as I thought it would be but the flavor is great somehow? 8/10?

Made me violently sick, excellent sauce
That's how you know it's spicy. I recommend using this sparingly, and not eating a whole spoonful as a dare. Tastes pretty good, but it's so spicy that you would have to have uranium-lined bowels to seriously use this for the flavour. Overall I probably won't buy it again but there's no reason not to give this five stars -- it has the level of spice one would expect from a sauce called "zombie apocalypse."

absolutely love this sauce!!
I've always enjoyed hot food. Vindaloo used to be my go to curry. Now thats not hot enough. Been trying lot of different hot sauces lately. Bought this one to go in my list. Was not disappointed. Flavour was incredible. Heat was definitely there but not as overpowering as you'd think. Would definitely recommend to any chilli heads. Works out at 100,000 shu!

Very tasty
Very tasty slight kick of carrot an vinegar then the heat kicks in its not unbearable but does have quite a kick to it but because this sauce is natural the burn doesn't last as long as some of the non natural sauces. If you like hot sauce it's a must try kind of sauce
