Metallics Permanent Hair Color, M49 Smoky Violet

It’s a great hair color if you have dark hair. If you get any type of gray, it’s gonna make that gray look like you put Easter egg color in your hair. But in the sunlight, it’s a great color on dark hair.

This product is easy to use.Gives a nice dark purple hue. I've been coloring my hair with this color for several years now. I'm like the way it enhances. My dark hair and brightens my gray. And it lasts it does not all wash out.

I have been coloring my hair for about 25 years. (Heredity can be unkind). So I apply this as instructed in the directions and rinsed it out...... and rinsed.....and rinsed.....and rinsed......the water just kept running purple out of my hair. Finally I think I have it running clear. I put the conditioner in and leave it on for the required time and when I rinse, Purple AGAIN.... I rinse and rinse and well you get the picture. I liked the color, very dark with a nice violet undertone. The next evening in the shower, purple water AGAIN. At least it didn't bleed all over my pillow or clothing but I had to do alot of rinsing to get the water to run clear after the shampoo and conditioner also. Within 2 weeks, the roots where the grey had been coming through are very lavender and the rest of the hair is still the nice dark brown with the violet undertone. I probably won't buy this again but I am never more than 6 weeks out from a new color so trying something new doesn't scare me much.

I've used this brand and specific color for years on dark brown unbleached hair and the results are always amazing. Tonight was the first time it stained my sink and I've used several other colors in this line and have never had this problem. It always washes out of my clothes and off all surfaces with cold water but for whatever reason, it stained my sink, so just be careful when using and expect beautiful results. Also, I had a hairdresser tell mm that you can't bleach your hair with this in as the bleach reacts to the metallic and melts your hair so keep that in mind too.

One of the few fashion colors I found that the dye doesn't fade. Just have to cover the roots every six to eight weeks.

Ok Tight Fades out Cheap

This was a new pick for me because my usual dye I buy on here literally doubled in price to ridiculousness. But it couldn't have worked out better. I have had numerous compliments and people have asked if it was a salon job or home job. I have found my new dye. I just hope they don't raise the price. I've only had it dyed for about 3weeks but it's still as nice as day 1 so far. Even my last dye would fade and start to turn more auburn after a month. I've always used a violet color but I'm so happy with this one. I also use a color protective shampoo and conditioner so perhaps that helps but overall I'm so satisfied with this product.

My Mom is 83 and used this product all the time. Her hair is spectacular. Every where she goes people compliment her. She looks like she’s 70. Very stylish.

Faites attention ma boite m’a été livrée incomplète !!! sans le tube de coloration! J’ai perdu 20$, car l’article n’est pas remboursable. Je suis prise avec une boîte de teinture à cheveux inutilisable et sans avoir aucuns recours, c’est une vrai arnaque! C’est vraiment frustrant. Le sceau du dessus était intacte mais celui d’en dessous avait été coupé pour en retirer le tube!
