Great for Older (and Newer) Bi-fold Closet Doors
Doing remodeling, decided to repaint the bi-fold closet doors. Removed the old pivot pins, plastic sleeve had dried out so they broke apart on removal - not able to reuse them. Went to a big box store to get replacements, they carried only one size. Figured it must be universal and that it would be fine. It was not fine. Too small. Found these on Amazon. The 7/16" bottom pivots in this kit worked great. Very easy to install, the height adjustment is simple, and my doors work better than before. Looks like newer doors are tapped for 3/8" so that is what is locally in stock. If you have an older door, these are your best bet, you're covered either way.

Fixed properly with 7/16
Measure diameter. Old higher quality hardware was 7/16. Today it’s 3/8. Very happy I didn’t have to drive all over town looking for 7/16. I doubt they would have had it at the box store.
