Plastic - it’s good quality and strong plastic. I don’t think it would break if dropped on the floor!

Does this work on dry hair our god daughter has very thick hair and many do not work on dry hair

I bought also as a gift I can’t be 100% sure it works on dry hair but i no it is used all the time as a standard brush with no complaints. One very happy little girl. Sorry I can’t be more exact for you .

Is it any good for really thick hair?

My daughter has long curly hair and it works great. Very nice brush comfortable to use and hold. Couldn’t see why it wouldn’t work on thick hair as well.

Great brush

Regardless the Harry Potter logo, the type of brush is perfect and gentle for my curly hair. I bought one in 2020 and I'm still using it, perfect condition. I just wish it had a easy-to-grab handle.

Great for Harry Potter fans but not the best quality

Bought for a teenager who loves Harry Potter and she loves it, but it's definitely not worth the money we paid for it. Very plasticy and the bristles on it are very flimsy, not suitable to use on wet hair, we advised her to use it to brush her hair when dry but it won't get knots out or anything. It's definitely no tangle teaser.
