Bought to learn shaping flowers in metal clay
I actually bought this book to assist in sculpting flowers in metal clay--which when fired in a kiln turns to solid metal. Excellent instructions and I think pretty transferrable to this medium. I would recommend do fellow metal clay artists for this purpose.

It’s an awesome book. Methods are well elaborated with step by step pictures. Lovely range of sugar flowers are covered in this book. A must have book for a sugar artist .

A gorgeous & well illustrated book
I have been waiting for this second volume to come out! It is gorgeous, and the photo illustrations are wonderful. This author is an amazing talent, and I can't wait try try to make some of these beautiful creations. Ms. Butler is a gifted teacher and a creative talent. Much appreciated!

Superb Book!
I thought that Jacqueline Butler's first book was excellent and this, her second volume, is even better if that is at all possible. It is a truly inspirational book on how to make and arrange modern, on trend sugar flowers for cakes. She includes her staples of hydrangea and filler flowers which she is very well known for and she shows us how to create several types of berries, 8 different styles of leaves and 16 beautiful new flowers and their greenery. There is also an entire section on how to arrange sugar flowers on cakes in 6 contemporary styles, and a great foundation lesson on how to prepare sugar flowers for arrangements. Very clever and so rarely seen in books of this type. The instructions are first class and the photography excellent. I love, love, love this book!

Ich habe das Buch für meine Mama gekauft, da ich den Instagram Konto folge und immer so begeistert bin von dieser Kunst. Mama und ich sind keine Profis. Sie hat aber bereits Fondant Kurse besucht und macht die schönste Torten für die Familie und manchmal auch als Auftrag für ihre Freundinnen. Für meine Hochzeit haben wir mit Hilfe von Peggy Porschens Buch die Blumen aus Gum Paste gemacht und die sind sehr schön geworden!! Dieses Buch ist eine gute Ergänzung, da Ihr Stil ein ganzes anderer ist als das von Peggy Porschen. Beide Bücher sind sehr gut illustriert und erklärt. Besonders gespannt bin ich auf die Buganvilias!!
