This is the first supplement that’s calmed my dog down.

It is a miracle for my tripod who experiences PTSD from noises that reminds him of being shot. When using this product and he hears something that sounds like a gun (car back firing, a soft or loud bang of some kind, a gun going off), he will stop and listen. Then, he will look at me. But instead of running back to the house or car, he’ll now just continue walking or just being outside.

Love this med. A little pricey especially since I have to double up on his dosage. The best way I have found to do it is two in the morning and a third midday. My pup has separation anxiety, so he’s destructive behavior only starts when I’m not home. The above dosage I have to give him is the only thing that’s been effective for a 130 lb Cane Corso puppy, and he not be lethargic from it. When I come home, he’s off his bed and running to me, tail wagging and all smiles. 4 stars only because of the price. Still a fantastic product.

The only pro here is that my cat loves the taste and thinks of the half-pill dose as a treat. Not sure if this is really a pro because he begs for more and I can't give him more because that would be an OD. I have given him half a tablet twice a day on Monday as a dry run at home. No effect, he's still chatty and hyper as ever. BTW, the goal is not to quiet him down but to prepare for air travel next month and ensure these tablets are safe as I want to avoid administering them for the first time on the day of travel. So since there was no effect on Monday, I tried again on Tuesday, thinking maybe the tablets using the recommended dosage take a few days to work and I should administer them a few days before travel. Still no effect. Today is Wednesday, I gave him another half pill and he's still hyper, which means that he will be on the day of travel even if I give him the pills in advance. I am going to stop. I don't like to give him unnecessary pills. If this is the effect they have on him (ie, no effect), he might as well travel the way he is with no medication. The vendor provides no refund. This is preposterous. My cat is only 12 lbs. So following the recommended dosage, the vendor should be able to guarantee results since the darned thing cost 40$. I strongly do not recommend wasting your money on this placebo (PS, placebo doesn't work on animals!)

My Vet recommended Anxitane for my 12 yr old nervous Shih Tzu who fears storms, fireworks and any other loud situations. He has been taking it for about 9 months and the results have been astonishing. I noticed after about 5 months that he seemed to be less scared when folks rang the doorbell. We just experienced a series of T-storms and 4th of July fireworks and my pup barely reacted. I’m honestly astonished at how well this supplement works. It is very expensive (about $1 a day for a small dog) but worth it to keep my dog calm.

I've been buying these tablets, infrequently, for 14 years or so. Whenever they'd go out of stock I would be so bummed out. My kitten became a little skittish when she was young, due to a toddler coming over. We used these to help her learn to chill out when company comes over. It worked, and she got very comfortable with even large groups of people. My cat is 15 now and we've used these before any big trips, moves, or anything stressful. My cat actually eats them like a treat and comes running when she hears me pop a tablet out! They are not cheap so I wouldn't recommend them for daily, life-long use. That said, to help get the edge off for your cat, I really think they're worth trying out.

Honestly haven’t noticed any changes in my cat’s behavior (separation anxiety, excessive meowing, inappropriate urination). Also have to crush this with a pill crusher and mix into wet food for my cat to even think about touching it.

This definitely reduces anxiety in both of my cats. The male will eat them like treats, and the box has to be kept away from him. The fussy female will lick the powder up if I crush the tablet with the back of a spoon. Whatever they make these out of, why can't they make all cat medication out of it?

My senior jack rusell started having anxiety after fireworks. Wish I had gotten it sooner. Only gave her for few weeks and she is doing better. I have stocked some for future.

Je met 4 étoiles, non pas parce que ce n'est pas efficace...! Mais simplement parce que c'est dispendieux. Par contre je souhaite de tout mon cœur qu' Amazon va toujours en avoir en stock, car ce produit aide ÉNORMÉMENT mon chien "épileptique" et extrêmement anxieux, à se détendre... Oui, c'est dispendieux. Mais ce produit à carrément sauvé mon chien. Sans ce produit, mon chien faisait des crises d'épilepsie à TOUT les jours. Maintenant, il en fait une à deux "petites", par semaine !!! C'est incroyable !!!!
