Diggory Doo has no self control, he steals a cake and eats it all, he never admits to being wrong, always blaming others for his mistakes. Sometimes he forgets his chores because he is watching tv, and he has trouble getting up in the morning. This story is to teach responsibility. To have manners , and to own your mistakes. Great lessons, so great book. Colorful drawings throughout the book.

I use this book at school with kids I work with. They love the dragon and his antics. I do not love the very thin paper.The hardcover versions are very cheap and paper tears easily, the paper backs have thicker paper but not title on the spine. I have 5 and won't purchase more for this reason.

He likes how it helps kids understand that they should not blame others for things that are their own fault. He said he learned that he should set an alarm clock so he is not late for school. He said he learned about that he needs to do the things, like cleaning and water plants before doing the fun stuff like play video games and watch tv. When you be mean, to say sorry, and you can make more friends that way.

We bought 4 of these for our 5 year old. The books are so cute and he REALLY enjoys them. He says he wants a pet dragon too. I love how relatable they are. Some of the words could be a bit easier for littles to understand better, but I think he gets the point. Plus the bigger words make him ask questions which is good. We can't wait to buy more of these books!

Grandson's were getting testy with the covid staying at home and these series of books helped them with expressing and dealing with their feelings of missing their friends, school, family and just being stuck at home.

Bought as a gift for my new granddaughter to start her new library. Love books that can teach lessons.

I wanted my granddaughter to read this book and hopefully think about her own anger issues. She's 6 and did enjoy the book and was interested in other "dragon stories."

This entire series is absolutely adorable. All my children, ranging from 7 to 12 like sitting in and listening. It's my youngest daughters favorite. Pictures are fantastic and the story line always cute.

I purchased all of these books for my kids and will use them at work (Mental health therapists)
