Lubegard 62005 Automatic Transmission Fluid Supplement, 10 oz.

If you have a ford automatic transmission I highly recommend these. I’ve been using these since before I was old enough to drive-these save modern ford transmission specifically the overdrive. I’m currently running it in gmc yukon, Kia Sedona, ford expedition, & ford Taurus. It’s worth it-I recommend it to anyone with automatic transmission.

Walmart put the wrong transmission fluid in my vehicle and this product took it from slipping to working perfectly. I would give it 10 stars if they had 10 stars. I also read that it was approved by Ford.

Overall a great value for what I paid, it was recommended to me by our mechanic for our agent 2003 Grand Marquis, transmission seems to be working fine and I'm guessing that it will increase longevity.

definitely worked for me. 2010 explorer with 183k miles, looked like the original trans fluid in there. changed fluid and filter, changed fluid again a month later and refilled with fresh fluid and Lubegard. solid, positive shifts. definitely bought me some time before rebuilding.

I bought a used 1997 Ford Econoline E150 and the transmission had a shutter. I took it to my mechanic and had him do a complete transmission fluid flush, drain the pan, change the transmission filter. When he put the new transmission fluid in, I had him use one and a half bottles of lube guard as an additive to the new fluid. Since doing this, I have noticed a great improvement in transmission shifting and the shutter is gone.

I was excited to see this product, as Mercon V fluid from motorcraft is pretty expensive. I put this in a 94 Mazda B3000 with an A4LD transmission. First i changed the fluid by draining the pan 3 times (sort of a home flush). After adding some valvoline dex/merc, i didnt like the way it shiftd. Adding this did seem to make the shifts quicker with less lurching between 2nd and 3rd. The shifts seem firmer also. Quite a good product.

This took care of the rear end shudder in my 98 towncar. Good product.

So, if your transmission is as broken this product won’t save it. But hey, there are plenty of situations where this magic potion works wonders. 475000 kms on transmission and counting

This seem to be good additive, I was hoping that it might help lower the temperature, in my Transmission, 2014 Ford EDGE. I did a drain and fill 6.5 L. two times, and the last fill I used the green Lubegard for Ford with the fill. The highest I see the Temperature now is 188 de.F at 23 de.C out side. It shifts good in and out of all 6 gears. I had seen 205 de.F before running aggressively using Ford Mercron LV. Not good, This time round I used AMSOIL ATF. I only ran 105 kmh for 100 Kilometers to see 188 de.F. Still not sure, weather or not ,it is going to run cooler. My bet, is if I run aggressively, it will run into the 200's again. I guess the only way to run cooler is to install another Trans. Cooler. The one on it now is big.

Advertised as "preventing torque converter shudder" - sadly the transmission in my Grand Marquis still chattered afterwards when the torque converter locks up. It's more of a preventative maintenance product - it should be used during each fluid-replacement cycle as opposed to when the trans is already having issues. No such thing as a transmission rebuild in a bottle. I'm going to try it in my 2005 Ford Five Hundred.
