Good product that works
My old unit had a short, replaced with this unit and it works perfectly. This is a better unit than that ones that have integrated TX and RX because you cam make all kinds of adjustments and alignments using both TX and RX units.

Nice product
We started to use these photo eyes and they are a breeze to install. We sometime have application where they compliment the job, they blend in with the system and work great. Easy to line up compared to other brands we use.

These are the easiest photo eyes to install
I replaced my old photo eyes that I use for driveway detection with these because of the dual beams. I don't think I have had a false alarm from bugs and etc since. But I was so pleased with the laser beams used for alignment that can be seen in bright daylight. This made the job of changing them out with the old ones very quick and painless. They are connected to my SLC 503 home computer.

Came with adequate instructions, well engineered and functions without issues. Setup was easy.

Good unit for what it is designed to do
This unit is the highest quality on the market. The buyer just has to understand what it is. It is a pair of lasers that are tripped by breaking both lasers at once. When tripped, it closes a switch for you. That is all it is there to do...... no alarms no panels no keypads no other things.....This is the detection section of an alarm system. You will add the rest of the system. That can be fancy and complicated enough to need a panel or simple as a door bell that rings when the beams are violated. The responses that call for brand names are not right. You can add whatever you want since this unit just closes (or opens) a circuit.

Simply outstanding!
I do plenty of home-made electronics, I used these as part of a security system running across the front of my property. These things are solid and well made. You can feed them anything form 10-30 volts and use AC or DC, just juice 'em up and they come to life. Alignment is super-easy, turn-on the little laser and bring the red dot to the receiver, so much easier then previous models. These also offer Normally open and normally closed contacts.....so versatile, practical and well made!

These things work perfectly.
Will be trying to use them to detect geese and trigger a scanning laser beam. Just waiting until the end of April when the ice comes off the Lake in BC. In a test environment they work 100%.

Superb Performance (so far)
Nicely built units have a great range (100 feet in my case) and haven't false triggered once and we've been having lots of rain. (I have the relay contacts wired across the switch in a wireless doorbell.) The lasers for aiming are nice but the units seem pretty forgiving of slight errors in pointing anyway.
