Prime R2SD2-10 Single R2 Slim 10" 2-Ohm DVC Shallow Subwoofer - 200 Watts RMS / 400 Watts Peak

Love this subwoofer, had to replace my stock Rockford Fosgate that came with my Car. And this one was just right... hits nice and tuned, sounds amazing. I have my Kicker 500.1 DX powering this at 1 Ohm and can not complain at all! Wonderful speaker for the price.

These are compact and very durable. It's designed to put a lot of power in a little space, without sacrificing sound.

Wired to a Pioneer DM8701 mono block amp that features two sets of outputs and is “stable” to one Ohm. Two subs were wired + / - from each amp output to each speaker terminals (same side) and the remaining two speaker terminals were connected using a jumper. Installed in sealed bottom firing box with poly fill. Used 100Amp main fuse with AWG copper welding cable and same for ground. High level speaker input and this sub thumps! Low distortion and clean to my ears. Not excessively booming and fairly well defined bass. Was t building a comp system using stock head unit so very please with the outcome.

pretty good quality for this price point. Solid construction, dual voice coils, push connectors for the wiring. Slim about 3.5" deep behind edge of basket. Wasn't thinking when i bought these though, normally you get more output with lower ohms, but forgot ohms law 2ohm + 2ohm in parallel will be a low 1 ohm, i didn't know this but the factory bose amp is a very low 1/2ohm. Never heard of an amp that was 1/2ohm lol, but i think this is as close i can get with a single sub. Two of these i can get down to 1/2ohm but i dont think this el cheap amp can push 2 subs.. Anyways, this is replacing the super weird looking inverted bose sub thats found in most touring 350zs, so we'll see if the factory amp can push this thing. But as far as speaker goes, i'm impressed with the quality for the cost. I was expecting a little bit less heavy duty speaker, but it's made solidly and is heavy for a cheap (cost) sub. Magnet is about half the size of full size subs, so hoping this is a little more efficient. So for now i'm giving this 5 stars, and will grade otherwise once i hear it installed.

Its Rockford, it performs great. It has been a few years since I have worked with RF, but the quality is still there. All but for one small issue that some might be annoyed with. The dust cap logo is not centered with the mounting ring logo. You can see it in the listings pictures. If you plan on displaying these, you'll have to choose to square up either the dust cap or the mounting ring..

The family car needed more bass. We have tried the all-in-one under-the-seat speaker/amp combo and they DO NOT LAST. Finally, I purchased this subwoofer and made a custom box to fit under the passenger seat. I had to have a shallow subwoofer as there was not a lot of space. I purchased a small amp that fit comfortably under the driver's seat. This setup put out so much more bass than the amp/speaker combo. I regret spending all that money and time on those when I could have purchased this speaker and been done.

I bought this to install in a Toyota double cab with not much space behind the rear seat. (6" tapering upwards to 3". Installed a wedge 0.6 cu ft sealed box with a sound stream 5 channel shooting 200w RMS to the double voice coil wired in series (4 ohms) and cranked it up. The bass response on one of these speakers was awesome, filled the cab and added a lot of depth to the sound quality. I highly recommend this speaker for those with limited space in their vehicle, it really does not take up much space and with just two hundred watts of power it was definitely worth the investment.

The caphead screws that come with it are terrible do not use them they will break inside your box and you'll be stuck fixing it. Very annoying because quality cap head wood screws are hard to find locally and pretty expensive.

I have 18 ram 1500 with alpine premium system , I seen other on Amazon & they replaced stock sub with a pioneer 8inch that fits directly in the stock sub box , so I bought the pioneer & did the pioneer replacement in stock box , it fit fine but the actual sound gain was barely minimal ,, So I bought this Rockford Fosgate 10 inch 2 ohm shallow mount & bought a sub box that it would fit in & fit in exact same area as factory sub ,,, both were hooked up correctly & only use the factory amp that powers stock sub ,, no extra amp (I bought the fosgate amp as well)but never installed it because this setup on stock premium amp is awsum ,,,, I couldn't be happier & I don't think I'm even gonna bother installing the amp as the quality of sound difference by installing a 80 $ sub box that fit with this RF sub was quite amazing ,, no it's not the kids rattle your windows off bass , but it's very clean deep powerful bass , This Rockford sub was about same $ to buy as the pioneer , but add extra 80$ for a box ,, and hands down worth every penny ,, I'm not a big time audiophile , but the pioneer in factory box was disappointing , not really that much difference , this setup with Rockford fosgate sub was a no question absolute sounds way better , I let my bud sit & listen to it , he has exact same truck with the premium sound , he couldn't believe the difference in sound quality & cleanliness , deep low bass at any volume ,, he looked n looked for a amp in my truck powering this sub , He ordered the exact same setup as mine & he is super happy as well ,,,, Don't bother with fitting a 8 inch in factory box ,, that's at best minimal sound difference ,,,, Do this exact thing I did if you want clear clean bass at normal volumes ,,, Couldn't be happier , had it in a month now & love it !,, Rockford Fosgate I always heard was a great product & Im in complete agreement with those rumours !!!!!!!

Al Ser un Sub. W. de 200 Watts RMS, siendo "Plano/Superficial/Shallow" y al ser la gama de entrada de la marca. Es bastante potente, lo instale en una Honda Pilot para 7 pasajeros, y aun lleno de gente, esta bocina libera bastante poder y calidad de sonido. Lo instalamos en el espacio de fabrica, para sustituir un Sub. Woofer Alpine que viene de base. Fue una gran decision! Muy satisfechos, excelente bocina para el precio.

I used this subwoofer to replace the dainty 6" sub that came from the manufacturer in my VW. I'm not using an amp. I just pulled out the old one and replaced this one wire for wire. It works great. I'm really happy with the base it provides. I like to feel my music and this does a great job of that

Replaced a sub woofer that my son destroyed with bass heavy hip hop music with this Rockford unit. Solid and sounds great in my truck.
