Very Happy
I have read that in dulcimers, you get what you pay for, and this is a lower end price for dulcimers. I did not want to pay top dollar because it's my first experience with a dulcimer and I want to be sure I'll love it before paying more. What sold me on this one is the notches for traditional 3 strings (with the melody strings close together) or for equidistant strings. My only hesitancy was the lower price and the low number of reviews. I have been very pleased with the sound on this dulcimer. I can't compare how it sounds with higher priced instruments, but I find it lovely, and I am very glad I bought it.

Nice Quality
The dulcimer looks great, and is very well crafted. The packaging was was nice, too. I was so surprised with how quickly it shipped! I would recommend this vender/product. It is going to be a birthday gift for my husband, who loves playing guitar. I hope he will be pleasantly surprised with this nicely made dulcimer. Bonus: it looks even better in person than the pictures!

Very loud! Scuff marks
This is very loud. It came with some scuff marks and some glue around a seem. Two white somewhat squiggly odd marks that makes me think of something holding it during the process of it being made. It came tuned to DAA which really surprised me. I wish it were softer. The volume hurts my ears. It came with a leaflet, a noter and a pick, but no extra strings. And no case.

I love this dulcimer, beautiful woods, great sound, great design and I love the scroll neck and tuners.Perfect in every way.

Bought for my wife, it's a beautiful dulcimer. Holds tune. Very nice.

Beautiful and Simple.
Wonderful instrument for the money. Solid construction and clear ringing tone. Now I'm experimenting with different tunings and Celtic versus Appalachian music. Liked this instrument so much, considering putting a pickup in it for recording. Went on to order a Roosebeck tunable bodran.
