That sounds like a faulty motherboard or power supply or bad CPU/ RAM etc. Or you could have dust built up on some components. If you're not a tech person you'll need to spend a few dollars for support.

If you plan on using the PSU to maximum power, you will need a power brick that supplies 12 volts at roughly 20 amps. My computer using this PSU only needs about 120 watts, so my brick is rated 12 volts at 12 amps.
