This sliding shower swivel chair has been an amazing purchase for my mother. It has made showering so much safer and easier, especially during her recovery. The swivel feature works very smoothly and allows her to get in and out of the shower with much less effort and stress. The sliding feature is extremely helpful, and the chair feels very stable and secure while in use. It was also very easy to install, which made the whole process much easier for our family. I included a picture to show how it fits and slides into the shower area. Overall, this has been one of the best purchases we made for her safety and comfort. Highly recommend for anyone caring for an elderly parent or someone recovering from surgery.

My husband has had this bath chair for about a month. Due to accident injuries, severe arthritis and degenerative spine disease, he can't walk unaided anymore, step over the side of a tub or stand to take a shower. The shower chairs we have tried were not adequate or safe enough for him. We have been looking into getting a walk in shower but we simply cannot afford that. I kept looking for a better shower chair, thinking that someone must have come up with a better design - and someone did! This bathchair is more expensive than many but it is far, far cheaper than a walk in shower and it is built incredibly well. It is extremely comfortable and very sturdy. My husband LOVES this shower chair. Every time he uses it, he comments how wonderful it is to be able to take a shower, whenever he wants, comfortably and safely, without pain, again. He says that he feels like he has part of his life and is independence back because of this chair. As it has turned out, I just had foot surgery. I cannot take off the bandages or get my foot wet for a few more days. I also cannot stand on that foot and I need to keep it elevated. Today I was able to take an easy, non messy sponge bath by sitting on the chair and keeping it pointed toward the bathroom, with my foot propped up on my knee scooter, which, of course was outside the tub. I hooked our flexible hose shower head on the arm of the chair, wth the water running and aimed Into the tub. I used the shower of water that was right there by my side to wet a face cloth, to wet myself and soap up. Then, I used the shower head again to rinse the soap out of the face cloth and rinse my body off. I couldn't do a full shower because of my foot but I was able to do a very good sponge bath - while sitting very comfortably and safely - and not creating a soapy wet mess! Everything just went down the tub. Without this chair, I would have had to sit on the toilet lid, with no place to elevate my foot, and try to take a spongebath with water in a basin. It would have been painful and pretty messy. This chair is everything that my husband wanted and it is even helping me out, while i'm recuperating from foot surgery. We never anticipated that. Also because it doesn't have legs to deal with, it doesn't take up bathroom floor space. We will also be able to fit it in our car, when we go to our daughter's house, so my husband can take showers there, too. We would give this shower chair ten stars if we could!

Got this for my elderly grandmother. She has had extensive surgeries on her knees, ankles, and hips and has needed help showering as she’s gotten older. My bathroom is small and finding this chair has been a life changer for us! With this chair she can comfortably sit down, swivel her legs into the tub (with little to no assistance) and be comfortably slid into place for her shower! She has no troubles or complaints about the seat and has even said that she thinks it’s a nice chair to sit in for her showers. Not only does she love it, but so do I. It is easy to put in place in the tub as well as to take out. The longest part was assembling it when it first arrived (roughly 5-10 minutes) and to install it in the tub only takes 1 minute! I sit down in it every time and test it just to be safe, but it is very secure and safe feeling! When we take it out of the tub (this again only takes a minute roughly if that) I make sure to dry it off mostly to avoid rust as much as possible just to be safe. I’d recommend this product to my friends if they found themselves needing something similar as well.

First will say please check the size of your tub. though they do have adjustable bars you can purchase after the sale, the length is set. It should fit most standard tubs but definitely check before purchase so you aren't disappointed. The weight wasn't too bad and was easily to assemble but make sure you look at the instructions make sure you put handles, etc on the correct side. This device was helpful cause the bottom an height of our tub meant the devices with legs were not an option. The unit is sturdy. At first my mom was worried cause she is very short so the seat leaves her in the air but the more we use it, the more she has convince in it. Cleaning is a breeze with a mild disinfectant and warm water. Can easily recommend to any person who the chair options are not capable.

My husband recently had spinal neck surgery. He has to wear a special shower brace on his neck. While he can walk fine, he is a fall risk in a bath tub. When was an inpatient for rehab post surgery, the Occupational Therapist (OT) suggested we get a shower chair. The problem with a simple shower chair is how to get my husband safely into the tub, as we have a pedestal tub that is taller than a more modern tub. Why researching alternatives, I looked at benches that cross the tub, but they are not as secure as this product and are backless. This product is so clever and has a back which makes the user more secure and stable. In the side position, my husband sits down with his legs outside of the tub. There are two levers to maneuver the user into position: - One lever allows you to swivel the chair while the person sitting in the chair swings their legs over the tub side. - The second lever or attachment allows you to easily slide the seat to center it over the tub. I am more than fifty pounds lighter than my husband and this was easy for me to do. We have now used the seat twice and he feels safe and comfortable when using it. Should it be needed, there is a strap with an easy to use clasp to go across one's lap. My husband does not need this but some users might. The photos were taken when I was testing for fit and prior to use, as I had not yet removed the plastic on the side bars. While my tub is 30" wide, I did not need to set the adjustable width of this product to the widest level (which I thought I would need to do). The sides of our tub are rounded, yet this fits securely in place. My husband and I are thrilled with how well this shower chair works. He is comfortable and feels safe in the chair. The seat and back have a slight give; they are not rigid. To complete his shower experience, I added a handheld shower that has an on/off button and adjustable settings. I did need to purchase an additional longer hose, as the 59" hose that came with the shower was not long enough. Some handheld showers had 6' hoses but no on/off buttons. (The on/off button is a wonderful feature for someone sitting in this shower chair.) I found a longer hose on Amazon that was 79" long and it is the perfect length. I also had to find an adapter to hook up the shower, as the "standard" size of the new shower was different than the width of my shower pole (that connects to a shower ring) for the pedestal tub. This would not be an issue for most showers. I am able to position our shower curtains around the chair inside of the tub when in use; I did not need to purchase any special curtains. I highly recommend this shower chair. It should work very well with other types of tubs, as well. It would not work well on a pedestal tub that has sloping sides--the sides of one's tub need to be level--that is they need to be horizontal to the floor.

It says non-returnable when you open the box due to health concerns. It is too narrow for my whirlpool tub, and I cannot return it. I WILL say it was easy to assemble, but my frustration at not being able to return it is HUGE!!!

Read the reviews and was a bit sceptical based on a few of them. Quick delivery, easy to install. Moved to a new home and found the tub is to tall for me to get in. This chair seemed to be my best option, and pleased how well it works for me. Feel safe and secure using it. Solved my problem

Easy to install. A real life saver if you don't have the option to renovate an existing bathroom to accomodate a disabled user.

Great chair, fair price. One problem, turning arm hard to reach as it ends up on inside.
