However, soon after consumption, all of that satisfaction melts away, leaving behind a pleasantly sweet aftertaste and nothing else. I used these when I was training for a marathon. My son recently made the middle school basketball team and he was struggling because he hadn’t ate since lunch. I decided to pack these since I still had some left from training and it went great! They look like small cookies but have healthy ingredients! I just put some in a ziplock bag for him to take in his book bag and he eats them before practice or his games! These settled well on his stomach and give him enough energy to go out there and give it his all for the game.
