I've had a problem with my right thigh for a couple of months now; it starts just above the outside of the right knee, but can end up near the hip; sometimes one spot or the other & sometimes both at the same time. It can get pretty unbearable if I stand for 15 minutes. Massage didn't help. I can barely use a tiger tail on it. I was just introduced to BioFreeze (gel form) earlier this year for tendonitis in the elbow. A bottle of the gel is part of my medicine cabinet now. The gel works on my leg, but doesn't last as long as the patches. A patch relieves the pain immediately and lasts a long time. I found these patches more effective than Lidocaine.
