Rani Hot Mango Chutney (Spicy Indian Preserve) 10.5oz (300g) Glass Jar, Ready to eat, Vegan ~ Gluten Free, All Natural, NON-GMO

This has just the right amount of heat (sweet/medium), and lots of mango fruity goodness! I was a bit wary of ordering it because I read some reviews stating that the jar arrived damaged or leaking. My jar was wrapped up like Fort Knox! A box inside of another box, and all covered with a ton of bubble wrap! I love this with samosas, and if you like Coronation Chicken Salad, this is the perfect chutney for spicing it according to the original recipe. It's also a good foil for baked Brie en croute. I will definitely order it again, as Indian foods are scarce where I live.

Good taste; priced right.

Excellent chutney

I bring this with for the charcuterie plate. But it can stand alone with various applications of dip or cream cheese. Different stages of spicy are available. I love to use this on my seafood appitizer.

Properly packaged to survive the most extreme transit experience, wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap in the box. Tried it immediately and it is delicious, I love it! I was a bit concerned that it may be too spicy since I don’t do spicy, but rest assured the chili pepper is more of a hint that adds more flavor than taste. I’ll definitely grab more when I run out.

I was looking for a replacement for Major Greys Chutney, so maybe that tells you about my "taste".By my second or third curry with Rani Chutney, I stopped the comparison, and began to enjoy the Rani for what it is.It is a little too syrupey, lacking in actual mango pieces, or identifiable veg parts.I will keep searching for a jarred chutney that hits the spot. This summer, I will likely take a shot at making my own during mango season.

nice but needs more flavor = cinnamon ,clove ,ginger i will doctor it as i am chef. vendor says use within six weeks after opening , i usually freeze between uses !

I was looking for a chutney that was not too hot, and this one meets my expectations. It has a small kick of heat and spiciness, but is not overwhelming. It is perfect for what I want!
