If you own a late model Jeep Cherokee (XJ), you've likely run into the trouble of finding replacement for it's odd-sized speakers. Fit - Rear: These speakers were a perfect fit for the rear headliner of my 1999 Cherokee. The mounting holes line up with the originals, meaning there's no drilling of new holes required. The grills fit over the speakers with no interference between the grill and tweeter. Fit - Front: Although the guide on both Amazon and Crutchfield say these are the proper replacements for the front door-mounted speakers, the holes don't line up. The mounting holes on mine were slightly wider in the front than in the rear. I suggest the Infinity Reference 6032si for the front. Sound quality: Definite improvement over the original speakers. The swivelable tweeter can be positioned to direct it's output more toward the front of the vehicle, instead of straight at the load floor. Since these are only 5.25" speakers, they don't need much help with highs, so I suggest leaving the tweeter set at 0. Overall I'm very pleased with these speakers. The sound quality is great and the fit is perfect. These will be the last speakers I will have to buy, at least for this vehicle.

Installed 4 of these babies in my car recently, and man is there a difference. I have 2 12" subs, and 2 6x9's as well, so these handle all my high end and do a great job of it. I have them all on +3 for the tweeter, and haven't been overwhelmed with any high pitch tones yet. I was afraid they might not fit, as they are rather large depth wise. The tweeter also is a little outside the woofer and almost didn't fit in my car door, but the grate is literally touching the tweeter, so if you have shallow 5.25 bays, look elsewhere. Really like infinity, really classy look, wish I had gotten infinity 6x9s, but the pioneers I got were a good deal and sound decent enough.

When I first contorted my body in a manner never before seen to man to get these into my Dodge Ram 1500, I legitimately was hoping that these speakers were worth it. I do DJ-ing and know the value of quality speakers and these more than fit the bill, I've been jamming my oldies and metal, classical and dubstep with no distortion in the healthy volumes and just a tad in the thunderous volumes; the only thing wrong, I feel, with these speakers is that the 31Hz channel, (the lowest, the rumble) is not quite the same as something you would find in a bigger speaker, but I mean the speaker is tiny, so I can sympathize with it. It takes a little time to break in, but all speakers do so don't just hurl them into your vehicle expecting them to be JBL's right out of the box. They are a little pricey, but definitely all around a good product, I am more than satisfied!

WOW...these things blew my mind. I originally had some Pioneer's in my rear deck of my E30 and they sounded alright, but as soon as these arrived I plugged them ASAP and they made a drastic difference! Much larger magnets but at 5.25" you never will get real bass but they handle bass well at high volume. But what really pulls you in is how crystal clear these are with handling the highs and mids. These keep their clarity very well and definitely sound louder in general than what I just had. SO WORTH the money :D ...Plus they give you a decal with it!! Only con: These are the 5032cf...cf indicating just speaker and no grille is included. Those are $20.

I usde these to replace paper cone speakers in my little guy R/T teardrop camper. These give you a very decent sound even without using an amp. They are not comparable to the KAPPA series (which are my favorite speakers from Infinity) but then again they are much cheaper...

These speakers provide a clear crisp and powerful sound that you would expect from a high end speaker. They were installed in the back of my Scion xb with the stock Pioneer head unit and can handle anything that thing throws at them. If you are looking for a good replacement for your stock speakers at a low price then this is the speaker. My car came stock with pioneer speakers and these blew them out of the water, those pioneers were not even close to the same level. It was a bit of a pain in the ass installing them but worth it in the end. Low price, great product. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Purchased these speakers. While they worked, they were fine. However, they stopped working after about 6 months. The stereo wasn't too loud, since the speakers replaced 15 year old stock BMW speakers which had a lower rating. Called HarmonKardon / Infinity for warranty service. Went to the local location and was informed that I had to return the speakers to the dealer I purchased them from. Spoke to Amazon, who informed me it was a manufacturers warranty, and they had to provide service. Classic catch-22. However, in general I would have to side with Amazon, the manufacturer should provide the warranty service in this case. So I'd give the speakers a 4 while they worked, and a 0 since they won't live up to their 1 year warranty.

I love these speakers.. very versatile with multiple adjustments on the tweeter. This speaker is very solidly built with crossovers included. The speakers are so clear at high volumes it makes me want to get a small amp to drive them a bit harder to get some punch. I came close to buying Infinity for my home system and now wish I had.. nothing compares to Infinity even my Polk Audio, for the price of course... and these at a mere $45 just can't be beat. Ordering the 6.5" of the same model for rear speakers next. DAve
