Does the job...

I needed to connect a 24 volt timer to operate my sprinkler system. My only power source in the area was a 240 volt single phase line. I connected this transformer and it did the job. It was installed in an outdoor box facing the hot Florida sun. It has been working for two months now without any issue.

Was easier to read wire diagram than white rogers. I first bought a White Rogers. Common was black ? In my 30 years in the business common wire was white. But I'm the dummy and "assumed" and burnt up the White Rogers. Then bought a Mars transformer. White was common. My mind pleased.

Replaced standard 24VAC furnace thermostat transformer. Mounting holes matched previous unit.Only problem was that one of the wires had a crack in the insulation revealing bare metal. Wrapped with electrical tape just to be safe. Actual output was ~26.2 VAC, but the furnace managed fine with the slight over-voltage. Given the extremely low price I'm happy with the product.

Worked after fixing the mount that came bent. Assuming it happened in transit due to the item being displaced from its box within the shipping envelope.

this works great, i was called a heating and cooling company and asked the price for this, and they said $150 for this+$78 per hour+tax lol.

Box showed up taped up…after opening the box, the wires had witness marks from being previously stripped and installed.

Used with a relay to power a Nest thermostat with our gas fireplace. I recommend the White-Rogers or Emerson fan relay if going down this route.

Out of the box the black wire is nearly severed about an inch from the base.
