Suitable across different boot soles The Squire's toe piece features Sole.ID - it can be adjusted to fit alpine boots and boots with touring soles - regardless of which boots you wear, the toe piece offers smooth and consistent release. The Squire's Hollow Linkage Heel is designed to optimise retention across all types of boots too. It has a hollow axle constructed from aluminium to increase torsional stiffness without adding weight, ideal for hard rippers that don't want a bulky binding. Reliable release An Anti-Friction Device (AFD) plate in the toe piece acts as a shock absorber to eliminate pre-release, and when required, aids lateral release to prevent injury.
