Absolutely great power paddle
This is an absolutely great entry level power paddle. The width of my kayak might justify a slightly longer paddle however, there are many advantages to this paddle. It helps me get close in to the kayak to do some core strokes including draw sweep bracing c to c. I’ve had my white water kayak out in the ocean launching into surf and breakers. It’s just an excellently designed paddle. .

We have two of these and use them for whitewater kayaking. Great paddles. I need three more but they are sold out most places so grab them fast.

It doesn’t cost $250 and it works fine. If you want a curved shaft pay more this one is great for people getting into the sport. It’s not heavy

Good quality but expensive
I believe and hope the prices of the paddles can be a little bit lower. The shaft is made of carbon but the paddle itself looks plastic, a very resistent one but still plastic.

Good design, questionable durability, warranty not honored
Amazing paddle, broke 11 months into use. Werner wouldnt honor my warranty. Going to have it repaired though.
