Bought these speakers to mount under my soffit on my garage which is where the patio is in my back yard. needed something for our wedding and reception to play music, and with the pyle mine 2x120w amp these inexpensive speakers were great. no noise, could handle the amp great, which i was worried about being they were so cheap and made for outdoors, but i have no complaints about them. maybe my only complaint is that they have the "quick wire" hook up instead of RCA plugs, but thats no big issue, i just put a single female rca plate on the bottom of my soffit behind the speaker, then took a jumper rca cable, cut off the ends with 6 inches of wire, and put them in the speakers, and just plugged the rca wire into the jacks in the soffit. so if you don't feel comfortable leaving them out all the time, or in winter, just unscrew the knobs that hold the speaker to the bracket, and unplug the rca wire to the plate and you're done, and since everything is white i used, it all blends in with the garage and looks nice.

I bought these as they are advertised as outdoor and would not rust. Within a year the grilles were rusty. The speakers sound good, so I was disappointed with the rust. If you are thinking of buying these, I recommend that they only be used in a well protected area, not subject to rain or excessive dampness.

The sound is ok but grill rusted in 2 weeks.Buy other speakers these are no good for the outside, they are garbage!UPDATEI just tried to return the speakers to the Amazon Vendor, JB Tool Sales ,who refused to take them back because it was out of the 30 day return window. Pyle, who I presume this vendor is a dealer for, state that the speakers have a one year warranty. Another reason not to buy them, the dealers (JB Tool Sales) does not stand behind the products they sell and the manufacturer they represent.

10/23/2016 Update: After YEARS of using these at haunted houses, they are still going strong. They are still our go-to choice for cheap speakers. Not good for bass, but more than adequate for background music and queue area audio. We use them with PYLE amplifiers.At just over $30 for a pair of these, I cannot complain. I picked up a pair (because of the price) to use at a month-long haunted house attraction. After the first week in use, I ordered a few more speakers. While the sound does not match what we get from a nice 12" PA speaker, they were more then adequate for our use -- and we could leave them mounted during the week even in the rain. Very good sound quality and a great price. Will they survive long term? We shall see...

Bought these in August for outdoor use. By October grills were rusted and look terrible. Sound is okay, but these are NOT outdoor speakers.

If what you are looking for are inexpensive outdoor waterproof speakers to provide decent audio at a decent price, then these are for you. Don't expect Carnegie Hall quality audio..these aren't priced or designed to provide that level of performance. If you want to listen to the ball game or some tunes outside, for the money you can't beat these little speakers. I would recommend higher quality speaker wire than the cable that came with them though. Decent cable will prevent line loss issues, especially if the speakers are some distance apart.

Got these for the backyard. They are small, well constructed, easy to hook up and the sound is big and clear. We live right in the city so I cannot turn them up a lot because the close neighbors but one day when we have a party I will let them rip and it will be great. I am going to leave them all year so will see how the rainny Seattle weather treats them and what their performance will be next summer.

This product says that the plate aluminum grill will not rust. This is not true. Within a month of installation both white grills turned rusty brown. The sound from the speakers is excellent. Therefore I give it three out of five stars.

J'ai acheté ces enceintes type "marine" pour ajouter dans l'habitacle de ma camionnette Iveco. Elles sont de bonne qualité même si pour le moment je n'ai pas encore branché celles-ci. Je reviendrai completer mon commentaire quand je les aurai testé. Je recommandes !!Mise a jour du commentaire le 14/04/18 : J'ai installé les enceintes et elles sont vraiment sympa, le son est bon. je rajoutes une photo.

Diese Lautsprecher sind mit 300 Watt angegeben (auch auf den Produkten selbst).Ich habe dies zum Testen an eine Mini HiFi-Anlage geschlossen (2x50Watt) und haben sich die Lautsprecher schon bei einem Drittel der max. Leistung überschlagen und gedröhnt wie ein Blechcontainer. Der Klang ist eine wahrliche Katastrophe. Ich würde die max. verkraftbare Leistung mit max 20Watt schätzen.Ich habe mir diese Lautsprecher für mein Boot gekauft und brauche sie gerade mal zum leise Radiohören. Wer damit etwas lauter Musik hören will (z.B. auf einer Terasse oder Garage) kann die Teile voll vergessen.Im unteren Viertel der Lautstärke ist die Klangqualität verkraftbar.Ein Stern nur, weil die Lautsprecher wenigstens funktionieren und heil angekommen sind!

Sinceramente mi hanno deluso.nonostante le abbia abbinate anche ad un amplificatore adeguato la resa non è delle migliori. La rete di protezione dopo 15 giorni di utilizzo in mare aveva già fatto la ruggine. Non capisco perché non le fanno in resina
