Ultimate Guide To Greenhouse Gardening for Beginners: How to Grow Flowers and Vegetables Year-Round In Your Greenhouse

A great intro! All you need to know to get started on your greenhouse journey.
If you want to understand greenhouse gardening then this will be a great introductory book for you. My family has always been into gardening, and I have been a bit slow to pick up on the passion. However in the last few years I have found myself ‘following in the family footsteps’ more and more, and seem to have surpassed the others as my interest expanded into greenhouses! I have been looking for some very practical and clear information to help me in this process, and this book has been excellent for that. I knew there were benefits to greenhouse gardening, but as the author explained the benefits of being able to control environmental conditions, and how it will allow me to do better breeding control without interfering external factors, I found myself more and more intrigued. The book also goes into some very practical and helpful details on how to build a greenhouse, and what is needed etc. However my favourite section is when it gets into the nitty gritty of actually growing the there. It clarifies the key differences between what is needed in cold versus warm weather, and very clearly explains what I need to do in terms of planting zones, plant selection, watering schedules, and light control. These kind of helpful details are exactly what I wanted in an introductory book to greenhouses, so if you are also looking for the right information to get you started, then I recommend this book!

Returning for a refunded. Just awful.
Extremely disappointed when this was delivered. Nearly $20 for a thin booklet that is obviously self published and looks like it was typed on a typewriter in a public library, and made up of information gleaned from the Internet and other sources and patched together to make it have some content. This was nothing as advertised, the first half of the book was all about why build a greenhouse, how to build a greenhouse, blah blah blah. No where in it did it have the information I was looking for: planning the plants, calendar for the greenhouse for through the year planting and harvest. No info worthwhile. Will be returning for a refund. I feel totally lied to about it as it was represented. If you just Google you will get better, more used insights. This is almost unethical to charge such a high price for a few pages of worthless info. Awful.

not easy to put together but when it's finished it is very nice. We put it on a wooden platform; needs heat if you plan to use it in the winter. My husband moved a lot of potted plants from our yard into the hot house when fall came and they lived until the first really hard freeze. I think it will work great for early seedlings in the spring.

Book arrived in good shape and quickly
Book arrived in good shape and quickly. Not what I expected as far as the book goes. I knew more about greenhouse gardening than the author did. Thought it would be more in depth by what the lead in suggested.

Not worth the money
I purchased this book based on the title and the description, which is misleading. There is NOTHING ultimate about it. The first half of the book (only 56 total pages in the book) goes into the history of greenhouses, selecting and building, etc. Very little information is provided on actually gardening in a greenhouse. It reads as if it were written for a high school project. I am returning this book. Very disappointed. If I could I would give less than one star.

Please avoid this book
The book contains 18 "chapters" but each chapter is about 2 pages long with little real information. There are no pictures, diagrams, references, cost estimates, suppliers, or anything that you would expect from a helpful guide. The last 20% of the book is actually a "preview" of another book by the author. I regret supporting this book's publication and only hope I can deter others from making my mistake of purchasing it. Please avoid this book.

Even at under £7 this booklet is poor value for money
Even at under £7 this booklet is poor value for money. After reading it (15 minutes cover to cover) I am no wiser. It's written in pigeon English, overly repetitive and offers no practical value whatsoever. I now know, in theory, that marvelous fruits, veg and flowers can all be grown in my brand new greenhouse... but I still don't have a clue how to do it!

Very poor value for money
VERY, VERY short, a book, (just about), of 60 pages including lots of nonsense/ padding at the front and 4 pages of other "leaflets" she has written and in a very big font. Very poor value for money. I intend to return mine and use the money for something that will keep me interested for longer than 10 minutes. Do not ripped off by buying this piece of rubbish!!!!!
