Fancy Fragrance Collection Eau de Parfum Spray, 3.4 Ounce

I wasn't sure at first how much I liked it.. has a similar scent to Paris Hilton's Gold Rush..[which in love] and have.. plus Juicy Couture Gold [which I love] and have.. but it's got its own little sweet powdery caramely smell. Lasts a few hrs.. its truly a darling perfume and I would definitely repurchase!

I sold my 20+ bottles of high-end eau de parfums many, many years ago when my migraines no longer allowed me to wear fragrances of any kind. I recently discovered (accidentally) that I can wear perfume again without getting an immediate headache but only certain scents like vanilla-based gourmands or light fruit-based scents. After wearing Marc Jacobs' "Daisy Eau So Fresh" successfully all summer, I was looking for a warm vanilla/caramel type scent for autumn/winter. I was surprised by how many YouTube perfume snobs recommended this Jessica Simpson fragrance and at under $20 for a 3.4 oz bottle of "Fancy", it was a blind-buy no-brainer. Well, the YouTubers were right. It is a lovely, well-rounded, perfect for cooler weather, inviting fragrance that works well for daytime or evening. The dry-down is exactly a nice creamy, caramel vanilla vibe that lasts surprisingly long and doesn't ever smell artificial or cheap. I get a solid 8 hours from this fragrance with one spray to each wrist and one to my neck. The sillage really only lasts the first 2-3 hours which is just fine with me. I like more intimate fragrances anyway. I prefer to share my scents with only those closest to me, and speaking of those closest, my husband loves this one. Whether you're a picky perfumery expert or just someone looking for an affordable workhorse of a winter fragrance, you cannot go wrong with this yummy gourmand. I rarely gift fragrances but I would definitely give this to any perfume lover/collector unless they specifically have a dislike of gourmand scents. The packaging and bottle are very attractive too. "Fancy" really holds its own among even high-end designer eau de parfums. Ms. Simpson should be very proud of her contribution to the fragrance world.

This is a very feminine scent . Very beautiful.. I purchased for myself but gifted to daughter as I have always worn masculine and unisex perfumes . I was giving a feminine perfume a try it just wasn’t for me . Literally about five times my daughter has visited me I’m like “Wow you smell so good “. She replies “It’s the perfume you gave me “. I stopped asking now but it projects nicely . She says it is her signature scent now and she gets compliments often . I want to add I did have Juicy Gold a few years back and it smells similar but I can tell tell that one didn’t last more than 2 hrs . This one will last all day . I wore it for about a month before giving it to my daughter and I’m a nurse and worked long 12-14 hr shifts. Again I went back to my regular masculine scents but this is very very nice especially for the price point it smells like a high luxury perfume .

This was a sentence I used to wear when I first came out and I went through a couple bottles and I loved it then I actually bought it this time and for some reason it just didn’t feel like when I used to love and adore it. I mean, I might give it time to macerate to see if that makes a difference, but I mean it’s still a beautiful scent. It still gives a good so large you know you can smell it the quality is amazing. It’s a little light in the beginning. Well, not really it’s a little perfume me in the beginning but then it lightens up. It gets better so it’s very wearable for anything office. You know out to the clothes it’s still an amazing scent. For the price like why not

So, this perfume just arrived at my front door... Days ahead of schedule, so yay for that! I was excited to smell this because of the rave reviews and also because I imagined anything from Jessica Simpson would be very sweet and feminine. The perfume came in it's box and the box was wrapped in plastic wrap (no different than if you purchased a bottle of perfume from the mall). I sprayed my wrist and at first was a little overwhelmed by the alcohol smell, which really is expected with an EDP at this price point. Once that wears down, the scent itself is nice... Sweet but fresh and floral. I can't imagine anyone hating this perfume. It's great for daytime and work as it shouldn't offend any coworkers or classmates. However, I love overly sweet scents such as Britney Spears' Fantasy. This is not at all super sweet like Fantasy, which some might prefer. I wanted something just as sweet. For extra info, I am in my late 20s. I can imagine any female from ages 17-45 wearing this perfume. It's not juvenile or "old lady" by any means. All in all I can't complain about my purchase. I got it ahead of time (the day before Christmas no less), in good packaging, the scent is nice and the price (under $20 for a big bottle) is amazing. We'll see if Fancy can get compliments like my $150 Flowerbomb ;)

First of all, I want to alleviate anyone's concerns about this large bottle of fragrance being only about one-third the cost of what you would pay in a department store. There is nothing wrong with it, it is the real deal, and it arrived in perfect condition in it's box wrapped in cellophane. I don't know how Amazon can give us such great bargains, but I'm glad they do, and I'm happy to save the money to spend on other things! I've used this fragrance, on and off, for several years now, and I really love it. It is a gourmand fragrance and smells warm and sweet. If you have a sweet tooth (like I do) you will probably like Fancy also. When I first spray it, there is a slight whiff of grapefruit, very refreshing, and then it dries down to a cozy delicious caramel. It also lasts for a long time. Now, there is something else I want to say about Fancy; I've read comments and reviews where people have said that this fragrance is "only for young women" or "not for anyone over twenty-five". Well, I am a mature woman, love Fancy, and have received many compliments when wearing it. If someone wants to live by rigid "perfume rules" that they have created, that's fine with me - it's their life. Maybe they like having a lot of rules. But personally, I think if you enjoy a fragrance, and other people around you like your fragrance, you should wear it. And I want to encourage any lady out there, of any age, to give Fancy a try if you haven't already. It is truly a great scent!

The shipping was quick and it came very nicely packaged with no damage. The smell is very light and lovely and isn’t too strong with vanilla. I used this scent back in 2010 and loved it. Finally remembered I loved it recently and was happy to see it was available for purchase on Amazon. It still smells great (not too strong either) and gives me lots of nostalgic memories of my early 20’s.

Love the packaging and fragrance. Its not very strong, which is why i like this one, and feels fresh throughout the day
