I wear it during the cool summer nights as a Night out fragrance. The reason being this is more of a winter based fragrance the heat tends to make the scent go awry.

Dior Homme Intense is considered a woody floral musk. I think the florals definitely dominate the fragrance, which make some consider it feminine, but the woods definitely ground it somewhere in between the two genders. There's a sweet chocolaty-ness in this scent as well. So to sum it up, it's floral, woody, and definitely smooth. Hope this helps
