Myrurgia Yacht Man Blue Eau-de-toilette Spray, 3.4 Ounce

For 24 American quarters (3.4 oz, Nov '11, $6), this cologne will probably beat out any other for that price. I'm not trying to talk it up so much they up the price but I'd spend at least $10 more on this one.It destroys it's cousin 'Yacht Man Red' (read my review on that if you'd like) by coming across as a more masculine scent. The scent is strong and lasts for about 2 hours with 3 or so sprays. After this and you can only really get a strong read on it if you're in any type of breeze, whether it be a fan or the wind. I would recommend this for daytime use but you'll see how it would work for nighttime use too. Due to the diversity of its' use, I would consider this being a love/hate type of cologne.To give an impression of the scent, imagine wanting to only use 'Blue' when wearing a dress shirt. It has that classy but subtle smell to it, which is why I am rating this 5 stars. You'll be happy if you purchase it with this in mind.The bottle is quite fancy looking but make sure you open the top correctly. You just have to press down on that lever on the side of the cap. I almost ripped off the cap until I realized how easy it was to open. Don't want you to have that same mistake.Bottom line: If you are looking for a somewhat classy smelling cologne for dirt cheap, this one will exceed your expectations. I'll tell you when I eventually run out, I will buy again. Hopefully the price remains under $10 by then.Hope this was helpful to you.

very nice and good pricing

For the price you simply cant beat this. It smells really fresh and clean, kinda like a classic blue cologne. I use it for work or after a shower, its good for daily wear. The only reason im not giving 5 stars is the scent dont last all day on me. I usually have to put a little more on around lunchtime, but for seven bucks who cares. Definitly a great buy for an easy cologne.

This was a gift and he said that it smelled like a quality cologne. It is a strong smell and the bottle looked nice.

They were out of my normal cologne which is the Geàu BLUE WHICH I LOVED they are now out of stock so I had to pick something so I picked out yacht man blue I do not recommend this I sprayed it on 30 minutes ago and I can't even smell it anymore not even a hint I will not be buying any more of this and I'm considering returning the other bottle I ordered two bottles another thing I am sadly disappointed to see the cousin to the Geàu BLUE which is a wood scent and used to be the same price around $7 and now is $19 that's ridiculous in other words since the last time I purchased it because I love the blue the cousin to it has gone up to $19 a bottle from seven that's what I used to get so I bet when blue comes back in the stock it'll be $19 I heard that Walmart carries it so I will be going there to check and I heard they have it and it's still $7 so Amazon you lost my business by going up on your price and being out of stock sadly disappointed in you

Tremendous

I am not a negative person & I think that this is the first negative review in years on Amazon, but it is what it is. I had never heard or seen this brand before when I saw it online. Was in the mood for a new scent and thought you can't beat it for the price IF.... it has a decent scent & lasts. Well, I was tired of paying $30/ $40 for a bottle of cologne, & thought (even with the bad reviews) what can go wrong deciding to give it a try. BIG MISTAKE! Like my granddad used to say, "you get what you pay for", that applies in this case. The scent doesn't last over 2 or 3 hours & it has an odd smell. At work one of my coworkers stated a few times one morning "why does it smell like mosquito spray in here?" I didn't snap that they were talking about me. The same week, my girlfriend and I were getting ready to go out and she turned to me & asked, "what are you wearing?" After telling me that she cared for me... and that the cologne smelt very "industrial." I have never scrubbed anything off so fast & ran to my stand-by, Adidas Moves. Simply put, I have learned to pay attention to the reviews.
