Does this come with a glass nozzle?

It says "porcelain nozzle insert". I'm on the fence about this since ceramic/porcelain can (might) contain lead and other heavy metals, but the glazing always contains barium. I'd prefer SS myself (even borosilicate glass would be better). The question is how much barium will the water pick up passing over the ceramic? Typically freshly distilled water is slightly alkaline, it becomes acidic with exposure to air, so it might not leach too much then. I wonder if the manufacturer has done any testing on this?

The distiller is really have a two year waranty ? And which country is it made ? Thanks.

Excellent product, 2 year warranty. Can't determine country of production. Had a Sears water makeridentical to this product and it lasted 20 years. Tank started to leak. Get the heavy duty model with thebest stainless tank available and it should last that long.

Does this come with the filters and cleaner like the glass collection ones for $229 do?

It did come with filters, but we purchased more just to be on the safe side. Cleaner was included as well...we purchased the 316 SS model and it has worked great. We distill 2-3 gallons per day and generally used white vinegar when it needs to be cleaned. When it appears the white vinegar is not getting the job done, we use the cleaner and do it outside because it does stink. Hope that helps....
