A fabulously feel-good novel that will make you make you laugh till you cry and leave you living life to the full, margarita in hand! Is this all there is? I scraped the last dregs of Caramel Chew Chew ice cream out of the bottom of the tub with my finger and licked it. It left a sticky smear on my phone’s screen when I typed into Google, “How to find love, sex and happiness.” Charlotte has always been a good girl. But being good is getting boring… She’s not just stuck in a rut – she’s buried in it up to her chin. The only company she has in bed is the back catalogue of Netflix and falling in love feels like the stuff of fairy tales. So when she stumbles across a popular podcast, ‘Sorry Not Sorry’, which challenges women to embrace their inner bad girl, she jumps at the chance to shake things up. Old Charlotte would never ask for a stranger’s number, go on a blind date or buy lacy lingerie… But New Charlotte is waving goodbye to her comfort zone (with a side order of margaritas). And it turns out that good things happen to bad girls… If you’re a fan of romantic comedies by Sophie Kinsella, Lindsey Kelk or Matt Dunn, and love TV shows like Girls , Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Jane the Virgin , you won’t be able to put down this hilarious read! Readers are absolutely loving Sorry Not Sorry : ‘I am sitting on a bus leaving New York and I couldn’t even wait to get in front of my laptop to write a review... This book was THAT. GOOD … Charlotte feels like a dear friend at this point… I took this book slowly because it was one of those novels you know you’ll be sorry to see end. Hell, I even slacked on some finals to read instead of working on my dissertation... I’m not sorry that’s for sure ;)… That last minute twist???? I was screaming .’ Goodreads Reviewer, 5 stars ‘Fantastic… So good I binge read it overnight… There was no way I was putting this book down one I started… The twists and turns kept me hooked … It had me laughing out loud, cringing and falling in love with the characters… So so good and you really have to one-click it as soon as you can.’ Goodreads Reviewer, 5 Stars ‘ Perfect … Had me laughing all the way through … I devoured it in a few hours because it was impossible to put down .’ Goodreads Reviewer ‘ I adored this book … It made me laugh, crave margaritas ... Funny , empowering , and has all the feels … Charlotte’s journey, her successes and failures, all resonated with me on a personal level.’ Goodreads Reviewer ‘ Loved it! ... Funny, quirky, relatable.’ Goodreads Reviewer ‘The perfect pick-me-up… Delightful … Packed full of laughs … A good old giggle !’ Goodreads Reviewer ‘ Wonderful! ... Totally enjoyable … I have never read any Sophie Ranald books but I am now going to be working my way through them. With the suggested margarita in hand, of course!’ Goodreads Reviewer, 5 stars ‘ I couldn’t put it down! ’ Goodreads Reviewer ‘ Fabulous … Fantastic … Highly recommended.’ Goodreads Reviewer ‘ I devoured this book in one sitting and felt very connected to Charlotte (which is a must-have for me)… I loved this to pieces .’ Goodreads Reviewer, 5 stars Review: Perfectly fun read - There aren't many self-published books that are this well done. No plot holes, unformed characters or editing mistakes, just a fun read with a lot of heart. A great premise fulfilled. The side storylines of girlfriends and housemate kept it fast paced, but didn't feel like rabbit holes. She makes the reader care about every character. All in all, a classic piece of chick lit that's better than the same genre from major publishing houses. Review: Fun and Exciting! - This was such a fun book! It took me a bit to actually get into, but I ended up really enjoying it. It was very British which was fun. The setting of a hedge fund was quite interesting. The romance kept me guessing for a while longer than I thought it would. I liked the different plot lines that Sorry Not Sorry had going: Charlotte's dating life, Maddy's wedding, hedge fund drama, etc. Charlotte was a great main character - interesting, funny, and easy to empathize with. I really liked her, and wouldn't mind reading more about her. Good ending to the story! I think that this book really gave me a glimpse into what it's like to work at a hedge fund as a twenty something, and deal with dating life, and friends moving into different stages of life. It was quite interesting, and I will definitely be picking up more from Sophie Ranald in the future! 4 stars.

Fun, relatable & entertaining!
Hard to get into & took me a while to invest in the characters but once I finally did, I truly enjoyed it! Loved the characters, super relatable, and lots of funny moments! Would be a great movie or show! Just ordered the next one & can't wait to learn about Tansy after the break up & then Sloane & Myles! Eeek! Thanks for the good read during this crappy quarantine!❤

British Romantic Comedy
The tale of “”Good Girl Bad Girl” is best told by the characters. In many ways it’s similar to other novels of the same genre but I’m a sucker for British writers of the genre. I even listened to UK-based bands referred to in the book on YouTube to better get the mood and put in context of the time it was written and found I’d stumbled onto new-to-me music I now enjoy regularly like The Lumineers. Check them out especially for their original lyrics. It’s helpful to download from Kindle the UK - British dictionary to parse out the unique UK slang to accurately describe the text. The dictionary is a great tool and I’m grateful to the developers of Kindle for making it easily accessible. It’s not as entertaining as the rom/com UK author’s work in the genre of Robert Brynzda: the Coco series but GBBG was a wonderful romp. I also really love the work of Spalding (can’t recall his first name...) which is solidly entertaining. So much so I even pre-ordered his next book at a bargain at $3.99.

Not Sorry
If you read my reviews you already know that I read a lot and only write if I feel strongly about a book, either good or bad. I will say that I am not very fond of British books in general - they use common words only those from England would know and it is sometimes difficult to follow the story. I picked Sorry Not Sorry just from the description of a perfect laugh out loud romantic comedy. It is not. But....it IS a very good read about everyday life for a single semi-professional young woman, with all the struggles that come with relationships, both personal and professional. With some hiccups along the way, things work out the way they should. A little predictable, but a really good read.

Easy read. Definitely a much younger writer. Cute, sassy, and life of being in your twenties . The dating scene, roommate situation.

Didn't laugh out loud
Well written characters, but plot was far too predictable and though I read the whole thing, I didn't find it funny at all, never mind laugh out loud. Ok as an "under the beach umbrella" read.

Funny, gripping and exciting - sorry not sorry to have read this fabulous Rom Com!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Charlotte’s story in Sorry, not Sorry. I couldn’t wait to find out who she may end up with Myles, Adam, I had a feeling it could have been Xander! How kind he was to her at the office. I am sad to have finished - but have so many unanswered questions?! What happened with Tansy and Renzo? Did Maddy and Henry have a baby?! Did Adam and Tansy remain at the flat whilst Charlotte and Xander went off on their travels?! Also will we ever find out how Travis tracked down Tansy?! But all in all a great, steamy, funny read and we can’t forget the main bad girl herself - did her relationship work out with the one?? I can’t wait to read Sophie’s other titles. Thank-you for such a gripping novel :)

A fun romantic comedy
Sorry, Not Sorry is a fun, entertaining novel and an easy read, perfect for a lazy day on the beach or after a long day at work. If follows the story of Charlotte, a bored twenty-seven year old woman struggling to find love. When she listens to the podcast “Sorry Not Sorry,” which encourages women to find their inner bad girl and jump into the dating game, Charlotte takes the challenge and stumbles into a comedy of errors. There are laugh-out-loud moments, cringe-worthy moments, and fun surprise moments. The writing is easy to follow and the pace is comfortable for a late night read with a cuppa. Charlotte is a well-developed and relatable character as she struggles through love’s highs and lows. She fumbles around in the dating game, mostly making a fool out of herself, but learns from her experiences and earns self-respect. And of course, the person she ends up with is the last person she expects. This isn’t a fast-paced narrative, but the writing style (told from Charlotte’s perspective) is often dead-pan and witty, and is extremely gratifying. The supporting characters are developed well and are believable—we all have a friend or a boss like Charlotte’s. Overall, this is an enjoyable chick-lit rom-com. It won’t change your life, but it’s a must-read for anyone who loves romance and humour.
