For the last few years, after I am afflicted with certain metabolic disorders, normal life got into disarray, especially abdominal discomfort due to improper digestion. I've put off getting enzymes for a few years now and finally ordered some. I have some from another company that are several times stronger than these from NOW, but wanted a less potent version for my lighter meals and snacks and these are perfect for that. They are probably potent enough for many people eating full sized meals but I err on the side of caution. It's a pure product with only the enzymes listed in it and because it's a capsule there is no taste to worry about. They do not bother me in the least in anyway and definitely do away with the symptoms I was having from eating various foods of late, such as wheat, heavy fats, carbs, etc. The older I've gotten the more foods were bothering me. If you have any symptoms after eating I'd suggest trying these. They're inexpensive and you can always increase the dose if it seems like you need to. I take right before I eat. I forgot one meal last week and took them after I ate and it didn't work nearly as good so remember to take them just before you eat. I notice some people just take daily and not necessarily before meals but I don't do that. It's working great as I'm taking them. I won't let myself run out because it's nice to be symptom free and eat mostly what I want.
