ATV salter
Last year we had one of these salters and it was worn out, tried to go cheaper by buying other salters…huge mistake, stay with what you know works this salter is wonderful on a quarter mile long driveway. Spreads well and fast on an ATV…worth the investment.

Throws seed like there’s no tomorrow and it doesn’t do too shabby with Salt!

Only worked once
Ordered this for my ATV to spread salt on my driveway. Had to use it for the first time this year. It worked for about 2 minutes then quit. I have contacted the manufacture with no response. A $600 item that quits right away is not worth it. I would not recommend this product. The seller does not respond so I am out $600.

Very big and sturdy
It really will send your seeds flying a long way. It is solid and big improvement over some of the cheaper hoppers we've tried.

I read the reviews on this, so got what I expected. Aside from the control lever to open and close the chute it is really better than I thought it would be. I'm pretty happy with the purchase, and will likely buy another one. We retro'd the mount to fit our eXmarkZ and Ferris mowers. I spread fertilizer and grass seed so far, and as I said very pleased with the results.

Almost Awesome
This equipment is great, when it works right. I had some issues centering the spread pattern, it was way off. Got it sorted out. Got it bolted to the front end of my mower and for the most part it works great. It is hard to get the motor turning when you first start. I have to cycle the power several times and then it usually gets going. I have to keep a push spreader available in my truck because I never know when this thing isn’t going to work. Secondly, even with light weight grass seed, it will not spin faster than setting 5 on the speed control. It will start pulsing and then shut down. The machine gets the job done, but, it’s not dependable and does not spread as advertised. I have tried to contact the seller through Amazon with no response.
