Here in the south, if you apply pre-emergent and fertilizer at the same time via a single “weed and feed” product, you tend to end up “juicing” the weeds that have already germinated. As a result, I’m one of the few who prefers to apply a pre-emergent and fertilizer separately. I have always applied a 0-0-10 pre-emergent in February, but have struggled to find the opposite to spread in the month of April - until now. This 10-0-1 fertilizer is perfect for my application and the slow-release formula helps prevent me from scorching my lawn. Would highly recommend.

10 days out and already seeing a darker green color in my grass. Most of my neighbors use "professional" services and harsh chemicals and yet my grass looks greener. Love that the product is organic materials and safe for pets /myself. I could smell no order with this product and that is a big deal for me. Not cheap, but the value is in the safety this product brings. As indicated should see even better results over the next 3 weeks.

Good for a starter fertilizer for sprouts. I’m not sure how much it did but it didn’t do any harm.

I prefer to use none chemical fertilizers, using instead organic. This did a great job

Seller did not receive their shipment of this fertilizer when they expected, so I had to wait several weeks for it. Not sellers fault and I didn't mind waiting as I like this product and its hard to find. Organic fertilizers have lower amounts of nitrogen so don't expect your grass to respond as quickly as with chemical fertilizers. I have used Jonathan Green organic for 2 years and my lawn is beautiful.

I was looking for a fertilizer with a high amount of water insoluble nitrogen, in order to continually feed through 6-8 weeks in the summer. Regular fertilizers often consist of water soluble N for rapid green and quick growth right off the bat, which would stress my lawn during the heat of summer. Also, due to the ingredients, the JG fertilizer helps feed the microbes in the soil, which in-turn helps feed the grass and improves soil quality. I will definitely be giving it another round toward the end of the summer heat. One thing to note is that the bag is 17lbs, which I didn't catch upon ordering. So in order to get the target pounds of N per 1000sqft that I was shooting for, I had to add in a few pounds of a different fertilizer. Next time I'll be ordering 3 bags instead of two in order to make sure I'm fully covered. However, that's my bad for not paying attention to the details.

Best lawn Fertilizer I have ever used. I’ve had lawns in all kinds of soil and weather conditions over my 60 years of experience and types of grass and I have used other Fertilizers from different providers and Organic Fertilizers beats them all.
