Why this product is so much costlier than others on the market; I see this one is from chicken and others from bovine sources; what's the difference?

There is always a wide variation in costs with supplements because there is also variation in quality and purity. I stick with trusted brands and this one was recommended by my naturopath and really seemed to help with my joint pain, so I think it's worth the added cost. Alternatively, you could use this one to see if this helps, then try a less expensive brand to see if you get the same effect.
