Euroflex Monster H055 Hi-Performance 2-in-1 Hand and Stick Vacuum with Accessories, 500-watt

This is a corded hand-held vacuum with long extension tubes. I use it to pick up dust, hair, and cat litter, from the areas where we have litter boxes. It is also great for taking cobwebs off corners of rooms and windows. It is quite lightweight and not as tiring to use as an upright vacuum with a hose for cleaning bare floors. I was disappointed with the sound level, since it is quite noisy. Also, the extension tubes are just held together by fitting tightly within each other and can come apart if not pushed in tightly. However, the dirt "cup" does a good job of holding the vacuumed up dirt and the cloth filter on top of the dirt cup is easy to shake out, and although washable does not need washing very often. The suction is quite powerful but since there is no rotating brush, this cleaner is really for hard floors and not carpets. Since I have only had it for a short time, I cannot speak to durability.

I recently took up polymer clay modeling as a side hobby and as a result dust has become my ultimate nemesis. I needed a compact vacuum that could get all of the dust out of every crevice and corner of my room. This unit really fit the bill! I love how compact this little vacuum is. It is light and it is also quite powerful for its size. It comes with two extension tubes that are about 13 inches in length (26 inches total when both are attached to the vacuum) which gives it great reach. You can attach any of the tools, such as the crevice tool, onto the unit itself for hand-held spot cleaning or use the stick attachments with the tools for added length to clean hard to reach areas and to clean up those elusive ceiling corner cobwebs. The two stick attachments along with the main floor tool are great for vacuuming our upstairs bathrooms when I don't want to carry our other large and heavy vacuum up the stairs. This unit is light, convenient and has made cleaning fun. I love having a fresh, dust-free room! Highly recommended.

I was in search for a light weight vacuum with high suction and no bag so I purchased this one based on the description and many wonderful reviews that all said it had great suction/performance. I was so excited to get a better vacuum with new "technology" because I've been using my 1999 vacuum that uses bags, it's heavy, loud, hot and quiet frankly it's outdated however, no vacuum ever meets it's suction power. I've been using this "Euroflex monster" for a good three weeks (I clean once a week fully in a medium sized room and spot clean throughout the week). The only reason why I didn't toss this right back into its box to send it back is because I threw the box away the day it arrived, silly me... I was so sure based on the reviews that it would be amazing. To my surprise the first thing you will notice is how difficult it is to maneuver with this darn thing. It has a rubber like strip on the bottom of the "main floor tool" making it very difficult to move it across my tiled floor. The floor tool is so lightweight that as you extent your arm to move it forward and then pull back to you it can't adjust by itself (up/down movement) as you push it back forward you have to step on the floor tool lightly to hold it down and adjust it to be flat on the floor again. It is my opinion as a housewife that the axis should be loose so that if you lift the vacuum the main floor tool should drop down on it's own, this way it always hugs the floor, instead it's so tight you need to adjust it yourself, constantly. Next thing you will notice is how hot this thing gets, so hot it is uncomfortable and burning to touch if you continue, this is after a few minutes of use. It does say on a yellow tag (at the end of the cord) that if it get's too hot you need to empty out the cup, clean filter, and let it sit to cool off for 20 minutes. I can clean half of my room and then stop because it's overheating and need to clean the cup/filter even though it's only a quarter full of the max line and then take a 20 minute break to let it cool off and then I may resume cleaning the other half of my room. I don't have time for this s*** no one likes cleaning I just want to get it done good and fast. The outlet for the hot air is on both sides, so if you use the vacuum for your curtains or perhaps some webbing or dust/hairs on the wall while holding it upwards it will blow all that hot air in your face. The most disappointing thing about this vacuum for me is it's inability to suction. Like the other reviewer said, wow that torque it has is amazing and a bit shocking and makes you believe, ooh boy it's going to have the best suction power ever! It picks up my cat little great! However I live in a hot and humid country and with humidity comes the awesome stickiness. I don't have central air conditioning in the room the only way I get a breeze is with a ceiling fan and open windows. All the dust and hairs stick and cling onto things so this is why I needed great suction just like my old vacuum. This thing can't do it. I go over my curtains five or six times with the rectangular 2-in-1 upholstery and pet-hair tool just to get some of it off because it just rubs it and then the hairs remain stuck on the little red fabric strip it has. So then you stop and pick the hairs off to be able to continue. I have a cat that has long white fur and this tool does not remove hair/dust effectively on anything that is fabric/cotton or upholstery related, your basically just rubbing it around not sucking it off. Lastly the button for the cup has already loosened the spring in it after opening and closing it so often to clean the filter/cup. Again, it keeps overheating so even though it's not full the hairs and dust get stuck on the filter making it over heat. In summary I am disappointed, agitated that I'm stuck with this thing in my closet, I am using my old vacuum again. I wish I could have my $50 bucks back to buy myself another one. In a humid climate it does a poor job. It is good for quick pick ups, like when your cat decides to have a party in the litter box but that makes it completely useless for my situation. It's advertised incorrectly and so is the description.

This is one of those things that you get what you pay for, unfortunately. This little vacuum has been one of the best and worst I've ever had. First of all it has its perks, like the fact that it is so tiny and barely weights anything but has powerful suction. But for me the bad outweighs the good because it lasted me about 4 months with just regular use (I wasn't using it more than weekly). Another thing was that it is very loud so at one point I would flinch before turning it on. I wouldn't buy it again because I was looking for a more long-term vacuum for my small spaces, but if you're on a budget and need something with power give this a try!
