Excellent flavour. This is obviously a very healthy blend. We could get all the brown rice selling in our steamer and that seems to work, usually we use chicken broth instead of water. It always gets compliments and we will definitely reorder.

I ordered this mix because a new recipe I was trying called for this particular one. I was hoping it would be tasty because the only way I could get it was to buy a box of 6. Trust me when I say, don't hesitate. I was not disappointed in the flavor or texture of this mix. I've used it not only for the new recipe, but I've made up some of my own using this mix. Very good.

A great flavorful nutty bespoke combination of easier digested Sprouted crimson RED LENTILS, red QUINOA seeds, whole grain BROWN RICE, white whole grain SORGUM grass seed and WILD (aquatic grass) RICE. All are very nutritious,have high PROTEIN, high FIBER and contain many ANTIOXIDANTS. All are loaded with slowly digested COMPLEX CARBOHYDRATES. This combination provides a highly nutritious base to add you're very own enhancements into. I like adding Vidalia ONIONS, Baby Bella MUSHROOMS, multi-colored SWEET PEPPERS and fresh MINCED GARLIC into this field blend. This easily creates a delicious side dish. Take another step and incorporate a protein of your choice and turn this into a tasty main dish NOTE: This field blend contains no added salt or fats, so I use Organic Chicken Bone broth instead of water. Midway through cooking I add a couple of teaspoons of Toasted Sesame Oil and Coconut Aminos. These 3 worthwhile steps add collagen and provide umami notes that increase the overall taste complexity. I season it with a sprinkle of TJ's Green goddess seasoning blend for brightness and a couple twists of fresh ground pepper and add SeaSalt as needed to attain the desired seasoning level. For a Mediterranean ENHANCEMENT: Add real Greek sheep's FETA cheese to make it even BETTER! I Finish it with a drizzle of Greek Extra virgin Kalamata Olive oil for added lusciousness. These enhancements create a very nutritious,"COMPLEX and DELICIOUS" dish. Enjoy these tasty "ANCIENT FIELD BLEND"embellishments or make your very own custom flavor creations ! CAUTION: EAT IN MODERATION to avoid glyphosate overload! I wish the ingredients were ORGANIC and Glyphosate free, but unfortunately they're not. 1 STAR deduction because PESTICIDE RESIDUE IS LIKELY ! At least they're NON-GMO plants that tolerate less Glyphosate use during crop development but unfortunately this doesn't prevent its use as a desiccant to speed drying before harvest Time! FYI: This same mix appeared at Aldi 2 years ago under the Simply Nature Label at a much lower price. It was an "Aldi find" with very limited availability and it instantly sold out!

We love rice blends at our house! And this lentil, wild rice + quinoa Prairie Blend certainly didn't disappoint. I love the texture variety and nutritional value that this mix of grains, seeds, and legumes provides. A great way to enhance our meals

This is such a unique, delicious blend of grains that works so well together. I love the textures and the added protein from the lentil and quinoa. This blend is so hearty and even my kids love it!

I usually buy Lundberg Wild rice blend,but since the lockdown its been difficult to get it at a decent price. Saw this and gave it a try, loved the milder flavor and texture; as against a pure wild rice blend. Its great on its own as a side or in pilafs, salads etc ..bit expensive but a good quality item to have in your dry pantry.

I really love the flavor and texture of this product. I was very disappointed to see my local Costco store discontinue carrying the product. Thankfully, Amazon carried it on their website and I was able to purchase it again. This is the only type of rice related product that I'll consider eating.
