This item says 1080P, which it may be by some technicality I suppose... but the quality is pretty low when played back on the computer. It still looks like a video recorded on a low/mid quality cell phone camera. The license plates are not able to be read unless it is the vehicle right in front of you and they are parked for a bit.The camera itself recorded just fine when plugged into the vehicle but it would not hold a charge when run without being plugged in at the time. It would start of listing a full battery then plummet to dead within a minute of filming.The night vision is not worth mentioning unless the camera is right in front of the object to be seen... in which case it does indeed see in the dark... but again... like 2 inches in front of itself.Overall I am sending back this item due to these flaws and will be looking to spend a bit more money for something more functional.However as a theft deterrent it would work as a dummy cam.

Nice- but screen size is too small, just like the print on the instructions.

The camera quality is acceptable, maybe even good for a camera this cheap. The design is nice, screen is acceptable and videos show what they need to show (can't read license plates from more than 10' away though). A few comments:- Electronics are not properly designed; constant engine whistle through the speaker; I cut the speaker wires to stop this from happening.- The holder broke off after 2 weeks (I bought a metal one to replace it; fits standard tripod mounts)- Maybe I am missing something, but mine does nothing "night view" related. When it's dark, I just see some lights and that's it.

Is out of focus and there is no way to make any kind of adjustment.

Added this to our company truck and the quality is amazing for the price... Took a little bit to understand the menus but once we got it up works great.....well worth money

Junk. Doesn't work AT ALL as a dash cam. Records terrible video briefly, then fails silently -- so you THINK ITS STILL WORKING. Product appears designed more to appear to be a functional dash cam than to actually BE a dash cam.
