My original sirius onyx power cord snapped and I purchased this item as a replacement. I was concerned at first that the wire looked much thicker than the original, but it works great. I paired it up with a belkin micro charger and it looks even better than the original. The cord is short, which works well for me in my 2007 prius with a vent mount, but it wouldn't have worked for a window mount. Definitely measure the distance you need to cover. For me a shorter cord looked even nicer. Shipping took longer than I would have expected with Amazon Prime's "2 day" shipping. I think it took 4 days? Not terrible, but longer than I would expect. Item was packaged well and new.

We bought this with hope that this power charger cable for our portable Sirius Radio would last longer that the two we had bought previously. And it definitely has! The USB plugs into portable power adapter that plugs into the power port in our car and doesn't bend where it plugs in. Much nicer that the other power charger cables that pluged in directly to the power outlet. Our other ones kept bending and it didn't take very long for the cord to break down and fall apart. Very frustrating ! This one has lasted a year, still going strong and we couldn't be happier!

We got my mom a new XM radio this year (SiriusXM Edge) and this came up in recommended. Works Great, she has 2 usb plugs on her dash, one now goes to the GPS, and the other to the XM Radio. we wrapped the 2 cables with plastic wire minder, and it looks very clean. the radio needs a few seconds pre-boot before the power button works (the USB loses power when you turn the key off) but thats the radio, not the cord (it does the same thing plugging in the radio into the BB2 speaker dock)

This power cord works well to power my XM radio xpressRCI radio. However, the shielding on this cable is very poor and interferes with FM transmition of the signal to my car stereo. When using this power cord I get a lot of static or and sometimes even get no radio signal. If I hold the cable in my hand it clears up much of the interference, thus it is probably a shielding issue on the cable.Very disappointed and would not consider buying again.
