Happy to have found this probiotic
I needed an emergency c-section my first and it was unavoidable with my second. I've been able to see the direct results of the good bacteria my babies didn't receive during birth. Both of my kids have tummy issues, ear infections, eye infections, eczema, among other things. I know a c-section is inevitable as I am pregnant with my third child and I am working hard to give my baby all the necessary bacteria that will benefit her during this pregnancy and while breastfeeding. I watched a documentary recently that explained how your baby can be effected by gut bacteria while still in the womb. They explained that the good bacteria gets passed to your infant during delivery and while you're pregnant, and they talked about how antibiotics (even if ingested by you and not the baby) can kill all the good bacteria with all of the bad bacteria, which leaves your little one with no good bacteria to keep their systems healthy. I was not surprised when they talked about the the issues your children can experience when they miss out on the good bacteria (eczema, ear infections, and asthma, etc.) and was so sad that my girls has missed out on the birthing process and this may have attributed to their health issues. I also learned that mothers who took probiotics during and after pregnancy lowered the experience of eczema in their baby's by almost half! I looked into Pro-moms after my doctor recommended it for me (she also recommended the Pro-kids formula for my other two which is working really well for them). These probiotics will help improve my gut health, which will inevitably increase my baby's health through my body and while I'm breastfeeding. I've been on them for a few weeks and I can feel the difference even in this short time. My digestion is better (and we can get all the help we can when we're pregnant), my gas has subsided, and my constipation has lessened. I will continue to use this probiotic throughout my pregnancy and as long as I am nursing. I feel much more in control of my babies health now and can breath a little easier.

Regularity is Important
As most pregnant women know (and can attest to) your regularity suffers greatly when you have a little person growing inside of you. For those of us that haven't dealt with this issue previously it can take some getting used to. But, being constipated is very uncomfortable and I have had the worst case this pregnancy. Not only do probiotics help you stay regular, I have found these help my bloating and gas as well. And Pro-Moms also has kiwi extract in it (this is the only prenatal probiotic Iโve found to include kiwi extract). Kiwi extract helps regularity even more that just an effective probiotic, and it also helps feed the probiotics so they are able to stick around and colonize more quickly. It is also great to know that probiotics help increase nutrient absorption and boost my immune system. When I donโt want to eat anything healthy (because lets be honest sometimes you just want homecookin and you canโt stand vegetables) my body will be absorbing the nutrients it needs to help keep me healthy and support my baby. Since pregnant women get sick more easily I also know that I am strengthening my immune system to help fight off any sickness that come my way. My husband brought a nasty bug home from work and while I did feel a bit off for a day or two, I was happy I didnโt experience any downtime. It is also helpful that these don't need to be refrigerated so I can keep them next to my nightstand and don't forget to take them daily, since my pregnancy brain has taken over.

THE Best Probiotic I've ever taken!
This is a holy grail probiotic! This is coming from someone, who before pregnancy, constantly suffered from yeast infections and occasional GI upsets. I tried every popular probiotic for women. I tried cutting out all sugars possible (yes, even fruit) and gluten. I STILL suffered from yeast infections! Anyway, I decided to order a probiotic specifically for pregnant women during my first trimester because you guessed it, I was having yeast infections. And we all know how pregnancy can wreck havoc on the body in general- such as yeast from increased hormones and constipation. No thanks. After a week, I noticed ZERO yeast issues, despite happily binging on fruit and the occasional sweet treat (umm, pregnancy cravings?) I really, truly believe that hyperbiotics PRO-Moms saved my sanity during pregnancy so far. I do sometimes take two a day though, which the bottle states you can do if needed. I plan on taking hyperbiotics probiotics for the rest of my life- seriously. It has improved the quality of my life SO much. Thank you hyperbiotics!

My regularity and health is important for baby!
This probiotic is great! I notice a difference when I take them regularly then when I don't. Some moms experience constipation and other bowl issues so this supplement is perfect for moms and moms to be. The microbes in this supplement is said to have 15x beneficial flora than other probiotics. Reaching my large intestine was a plus for me! The ingredients are perfect for baby and starting them off with a wonderful start. PRO-Moms has enhanced absorption perfect for mom and baby. Producing more folate was a plus for me since I have the MTHFR gene mutation and cannot absorb folic acid but only folate! I will continue to purchase these probiotics and I have already told my midwife about them for her other clients.

Awkward..
Mmm.. awkward thing to write a review on ?? But screw it! I ordered this probiotic (after speaking with my OBGYN) in hopes of easing any gastrointestinal issues I may have during my pregnancy. I have a history of issues in this area unfortunately (most recently especially since having my gallbladder removed) and the whole preggo constipation thing was hitting me early (*TMI*). Anyway, I won't lie and say it's been a miracle-worker (because it has not been) BUT I feel like it's doing a good job of keeping me balanced (in conjunction with a regular prenatal I take with it) - at least when compared to like, 4,000 women I'm in a pregnancy group with on Facebook that seem to have more issues than I in this regards. Would I take it otherwise? Probably not. But if you have pre-existing issues or concerns, I would recommend it.

... write one to help other mom's looking for a great probiotic while pregnant or nursing
There weren't any reviews when I bought this product so I thought I'd write one to help other mom's looking for a great probiotic while pregnant or nursing :) I was looking for a probiotic to take to give my breast fed son an even better start to immune and overall health and this one is great! I've been working out again to get into better health and have been really sore and after a couple days taking this I'm not nearly as sore as I was and I feel like I have more energy not only to work out every day but to get through my day without being exhausted by 8pm. Not sure if this product had anything to do with that but it's the only thing I've changed! I will update again in a few months when I've been taking it for a longer time.

I love knowing this is designed and safe for me and my breast fed baby. (I am Andrew's wife). I noticed immediate results within the first 24 hours which I can honestly say I have never experienced with other Pro biotics. I have Lyme and so I have many digestive issues. This is made to release deep into your large intestine and help colonize the good bacteria. After prolonged use of antibiotics, I am glad I found this product to help repair the damage I have done. I love the ingredients and love the product. Easy to swallow pill ( there is a touch of a bitter taste but it goes down well)

Trying something new
I had a voluntary c-section with my first pregnancy and I want to do things very differently this time around. With having a c-section I learned so much about the issues my son could possibly face because of it (allergies, a weaker immune system, attachment issues, skin conditions) and Iโve decided to completely change my diet and lifestyle choices and try to have a VBAC with my 2nd. I've been learning a lot and I came across the benefits of probiotics, but specifically the benefits while pregnant. Most people know the probiotics keep your digestion running smoothly, but they also provide all of the good bacteria that I will pass to my new baby while breastfeeding and during delivery. Probiotics have also been shown to fight yeast infections and help lower the chances of preeclampsia and gestational diabetes. At first I was hesitant about a probiotic made for pregnant women. I was planning to buy a regular formula because I thought it was a marketing ploy. I started researching different live culture strains and which ones are most recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding moms and now I get why you would need a more specific formula for this stage of life. From the information I've read, pro-moms has the strains that provide the most benefits. Apparently it is important to find a probiotic with Lactobacillus rhamnosus, L. reuteri, L. actobacillus acidophilus, and both B. lactis and B. bifidum. This probiotic includes all of these strains as well as 3 others that have been shown to help with digestive issues, help boost your immune system, help to keep yeast balanced, and help prevent bad bacteria from being able to cause issues for your system. I wanted these specific strains because babies who have L. reuteri in their systems have fewer allergies and get sick less often. B. bifidum is the live culture (as well as a couple others) that helps decrease the chances of eczema in infants as well, B. lactis helps to lower the chances of gestational diabietes and give an immune boost, also it helps regularity. I was also told by my doctor that probiotics help reduce mastitis. I have friends who have suffered from mastitis and it sounds awful. I read that there was a study and they found In a four week study of women with mastitis, those given a daily probiotic no longer showed signs of mastitis after a couple of weeks. Interestingly, those not given the probiotic were still suffering from mastitis by the end of the study. Another study compared women that took an antibiotic vurses women that took a probiotic to treat mastitis. The improvement was greater and showed lower reoccurrence of mastitis in women receiving probiotic treatment than in those taking antibiotics. I donโt want anything effecting my ability to breastfeed, and just knowing there is a natural treatment for mastitis, but also that I can be proactive about preventing mastitis is such a relief. I just started taking these probiotics so I haven't started noticing results yet, but I want to take only the best. I was drawn to it because they don't use any "bad" stuff (no fillers, additives, and non-GMO) so that already makes me feel at ease. Everything indicates that it will be great but I will have to see how things go over the next few weeks.
