Table Top Photography 30" 12" Photo Tent Studio Kit, Portable Studio Lighitng Kit, Agg1207

I am new to photographic equipment: this is my first set, and I bought it so that I could better photograph my Asian ball-jointed dolls and items I put up for auction. Given that I know nothing about the relative value of photographic equipment...I am really, really happy with this set. It does exactly what I need it to do, and if it isn't the sturdiest kit out there, it also isn't the most expensive! The lights are good, just don't use them outside, on uneven surfaces, or around cats -- they WILL fall over. I like that this kit also includes two cubes. To get the wrinkles out of the colored backgrounds, simply iron them with iron on low setting.

I was missing one of the backdrops for the 30" tent. An email to the seller produced a response within hours. I received the missing part within days.I first set the 12" tent up and found that it does a nice job with the supplied lighting. For the 30" tent, it was too dark to use without significant post-processing to get a true white background (have not tried the other background colors) and true representation of my product colors. In my case, I already had several portable light fixtures and several 5500K CFL bulbs that I was able to add to the system. With a 120 watt equivalent added above the tent and 2 60 watt CFL bulbs (one to each side), I had enough light for the 30".I'm overall pleased with the value and quality of this product.

1 Bulb was broken, which did not matter because both lights do not work either. Very disappointing.

I had purchased this as a gift for my partner to take pictures of homemade jewelry and other small items. IT DOES THE JOB if you're looking for a cost effective solution to taking professional photos of your merchandise, along with a really good camera. I recommend it to people who are in a budget until they can afford a more professional set-up. If you're selling on Amazon, Ebay, Etsy, and etc., then this is a must have. The merchandise arrived on time, nicely packaged, and all lights working. It's easy to set up and put away. However, the collapsible tent and backdrops were super wrinkly and hard to get rid of. You can try steaming the surface to remove wrinkles.

It's super cheap and flimsy. One of my lights was broken and the velcro surrounding the smaller cube ripped off the first time I tried to take the cover off. I returned it.

I am a professional artist, photographer and teacher. I use this to photograph my students art. It all folds down to fit into a small box and can store easy. Easy assembly and worth the money.

Nice light box kit. Well packaged and items seem to be good quality. As others have said, the lights are a bit top heavy and easy to tip over. It is a real challenge to get the fold marks ironed out of the background cloths. but everything works as advertised.A versatile kit with both a large and small light tent. For the price, a good value.
