One of the best.
There are few Tuna Fish cans I can eat straight out of the tin. The flavor is fantastic with a lovely texture. Iโve enjoyed fresh tuna in Greece, this is as close to that as I can find.

Tuna Fish of the Gods
Just amazing. I love tinned fish, which makes a difference. Casual tuna fish eaters would likely scoff at the price. Those who seek out and eat a lot of tinned fish would get it. The texture and taste are top level. I've bought a few to age as well. I'll probably buy at least one a year to have immediately and another to have in 6-7 years.

Verry tender and tasty
very tasty, but on the expensive side. I use it for tuna salad only for spurge once a year

Best Tuna in the World.
You have to be crazy to spend this much money for a can of tuna. BE CRAZY!!! It is fantastic.

Pricey but worth it!
So good! Delicious!

Not what I expected
The tuna it's self was very good. I was expecting from the write ups and description soft, marbled tuna. Instead it is dry with no belly fat to soften it. It is delicate in flavor, tastes good but not the soft pliable tuna I was expecting. For the money it is over priced. Beats the heck out of regular tuna just not as described.

Worth it!
I don't generally buy tins this expensive, but someone on reddit had suggested this tin for a board I was putting together for a party. The fish definitely was worth the price. Super subtle but rich taste and the texture to die for.

It's not worth $60/pound(excluding oil) compared with fresh ocean caught & cooked tuna which is less expensive & much tastier.
Edit: The first can we tried tasted awful. Why or how, we don't know, but the first can was dry(despite the oil), tough and distasteful. However, the 2nd and 3rd cans so far have tasted better, more tender, creamy and better flavored. However, the bottom line is . . these cans of tuna(without the oil) are costing approx. $60 per pound and there is simply no way at this point in time we can say this canned tuna brand quality is worth $60 per pound, when we can get the freshest tuna caught same day from the California fishermen for less money. Unless we've already entered the era of runaway inflation, $60 per pound for this quality of canned tuna is way too much, and outside of Amazon prices, it would be much more. Whatever the price is, we would not consider this tuna gourmet, as we have had much higher quality canned tunas from Spain, albeit non-internationally commercial from small fisheries. And who knows how long these cans of tuna have been sitting as there is no date of canning stamped.Very disappointed with the nothing special quality at best of this very expensive canned tuna. This is not gourmet or high quality. Many online up close pictures show this Ortiz Ventresca tuna as a creamy and rich colored tuna. But ours was a dry, pinkish color and very bland tasting, even with the oil, which wasn't any good either. The tuna slices are so thinly sliced, it almost looks like the cheapest, junkiest mass processed tuna in the supermarkets. The first spoiled can made us think this was some type of low grade cat food quality tuna. We fell for all the reviews and spent an outrageous $109 for 10 cans of this extremely over-rated and over-priced canned tuna. 10 cans x 4 oz each (with the cheap quality oil) is $44 per pound or over $61 for the drained tuna weight. We can get the best fresh off the boat caught tuna for this kind of money, but ultimately we are very disappointed with the quality of this tuna and the fact we feel tricked by all the rave reviews. Perhaps these were not stored properly and were exposed to very high summer temps or cold winters, but Amazon does not allow returns for this product, so be careful. They should say that, before buying the product.

Einfach gut.
Dies ist nichts, was man in groรen Mengen gedankenlos in sich hineinschaufelt.
