Vornado 133 Personal Air Circulator Fan, Black, 2 Speeds, Adjustable Head

We live in the desert. It gets hot. FREAKING hot....and on top of that I get seasonal allergies so even when the weather is cool, well cool-ish, I have the windows closed so I can breathe...we run the AC as much as we like cause the house gets stifling even in "Spring". Seriously I measured the temperature, the "Spring" temperature on the kitchen window sill aka the hot side of the house, the other day and it was 103...aggghhh...where was I? Sweaty and stifled and hot... So I like to have a fan going, moving the air, so that in between AC blasts the air just feels better...not still and stagnant... It's shocking how a little bit of moving air can make the house feel much more comfortable, cause if it's not moving I'm inching the AC down another degree. Our old fan was just that, olllllllld. Not classy antique old either, but cheap, half broken, dust clogged (despite repeated cleanings) noisy and annoying. I think I can safely say I used that thing to death. the fan blade broke, the swivel head thingy that used to swivel the fan broke and while it still technically runs it makes a distracting noise...look, it was time for a new fan. This We enjoy the moving air but not the noise of a fan. Also we don't love a strong, whip the papers off a desk and what not fan, that's as annoying as the noise. I read the positive reviews of the Vornado brand fans from SweetHome and decided on this little guy for a new fan. It really is little, adorable as fans go ;) I read the measurements before purchasing so I knew how small it is but can I just say that side by side next to our old Frankenstein-esque monstrosity of a nosiy half dead fan we bought over 14 years ago...this thing is freaking miniscule. I love that, added bonus more floor space! It's meant for small rooms but I am using it more for a personal space air flow cooling kind of thing. Meaning I am hogging the fan by pointing it towards my desk so I have a lovely, soft, cool air movement around me all the time now. On the low setting the fan is very quiet. It makes a soft fan sound of course but that sort of white noise I find soothing actually. It's so small and light I am probably going to cart it around from room to room for a while, though I think in the future we may get a larger one and use that for the main living space and leave the little one in the bedroom or something...I think... This is a first impressions review, I'll update on the long lasting quality and ease of cleaning etc when it comes around to it. For now, easy breezy beautiful little fan! Oh and before I forget I read some reviews where people were complaining it's not strong etc. I think they missed the point of this style of fan, it's not your old school, hurricane force wind fan that knocks everything about the room. It's an air moving fan, just moves the air, soft and steady and makes the room feel fresher and taking very little space to do so.

LUV this Vornado brand & have cooling fans as well as heaters & have purchased several over the years. The Vornado 133 small fan was smaller than I expected. However, pleasantly surprised & it’s perfect for what I needed. Very powerful & reaches across the room on high speed & perfect speed on low if I want it closer. It’s a winner & a keeper👍🏻👏🏻🙂

I love this little fan so much and am so happy with the breeze in my office right now that 2 years later I deliberately came back to write a review. I initially bought this because my bedroom doesn't get anywhere near as cool as the rest of the apartment...I wasn't thrilled about having an ugly fan, but reddit buy it for life was clear about Vornado. so I decided to get the cheapest good fan they offered to test it. genuinely changed my quality of life. I've gotten 2 other Vornado fan versions (one in the pic here) and none are as versatile and ideal for almost any situation (powerful enough for the living room, also good for sleeping etc) . Pretty quiet on low, and a serious breeze on high. The cute little version I included for size context (along with the hatch alarm clock for more size context). I keep wanting to use the cute fan because it's aesthetically way more pleasing and has 3 speeds... but it's just nowhere near as effective and even tho it's probably quieter, I notice the noise far more. Sound experts can weigh in on the different kinds of noise each generates, but I can just say that this 133 model creates the good one. If you're on the fence, and you actually love a nice breeze, this one has really been such an ongoing source of joy for me. Incidentally I also got the vintage green one and it sure sounds vintage and by far the worst of the 3. My sister's labradoodle is obsessed with this model (the 133).... and hates the other two. Which I think is a good indication of the gentleness of the sound of this model... and the power of the breeze it creates.

This is a powerful little fan that will keep you cool. It’s compact and stylish. So why did I take off a star? It’s too quiet!! If you use a fan as noise to help you sleep, this not the fan for you. (It is louder on high mode.) Good thing I have a sound machine with fan sounds!

I bought a Honeywell fan that’s a little bigger than this because it seemed to have a lot more power, but when I compared the two, I liked this one better. It is almost completely silent on low, and when I use it near me, I only need it on low. You can use it as a circulator, but I use it as a regular old fan. In other words, I want it blowing the air directly on me. I have larger Vornado floor fans that I bought when they first came out many years ago, and those are quite powerful, but they’re also very heavy. This is a tiny lightweight item that you can put in any room near whoever is sitting there guaranteed to feel more comfortable. As a matter of fact, I think I’m gonna buy another one.

I bought the regular size Vornado about 5 years ago. It is still working until this day; never have any issues. I was debating whether to get the regular or small size fan. I need it to cool down my laptop during summer time. I am glad I chose the desk version. This thing cools the laptop along with surroundings.

This little fan really puts out. Lots of power, but very quiet.

This is perfect.. I bought it because I get over heated at night and well dont wanna use the ac just yet.. This fan is perfect.. low setting is like chilling outside with the small cool breeze. Second setting is like a car ride with the window down.. the air doesn't come out as hot as the air around you its actually cooler like a mini air conditioner medium noise but not terrible.. love it definitely worth the amount spent.. My job has some slightly bigger with 3 settings so I had a preview of this brand.. definitely recommend...

This fan is great. I bought it to replace a worn out fan from last year. The breeze this fan creates is lovely and it cools the room down very nicely. There's hardly any noise at all from this fan even at the highest setting. Overall it's well worth the money. I'm happy I bought this fan.

Although on the uk Amazon website, it arrived with an American plug. I bought an adaptor but it didn't fit,so I had to return the item. It was not made clear that this was the case, otherwise, I would not have brought it.

This fan is unbelievable. There is no other fan you can buy that will produce as much cooling power as this one. I have two already one in a smaller size for the bedroom and a larger size for the living area. They don’t disappoint and they are worth every penny.
