Great, with one caveat
These really do the trick for preventing your bike getting covered in road crud when on your hitch bike rack. I ride fat bikes in northern New England all winter long, meaning salt, snow, slush, and grit get spewed on the bike every time I drive to a trail, wreaking havoc on the brakes and drivetrain over time. Replaced my brakes this summer, and the folks at the shop recommended these. Holy smokes they make a difference. Here's the one kicker, and I think it's something I'll just solve with duct tape rather than sending them back (meaning sending them to the dumpster): the hard plastic backer cracked with a three-inch split the first time I put them on. Nothing since, and it doesn't interfere with their performance, but clearly the material they used in the design of these isn't sturdy enough for the application just yet. But like I said, a little duct tape should do the trick, and at what I think is a low price point, just fine with me. I encourage you to get these and deal with the potential cracking, because the other half that is the business side of these--the neoprene side--will make these pay for themselves in the lack of need for replacing calipers, rotors, and hopefully even rear derailleur and cassette. Update 1/1/24: The cracking of the hard plastic back continues and has expanded to several other splits. But they continue to work overall incredibly well despite the poor quality material on the non-neoprene disc. I'm likely to order a new pair this season (especially after today's ride where I see the backing is coming to its end) in hopes they upgraded the material in the last year.

Got to have them!
I'm an avid mtn biker so keeping my bike clean and maintained is critical! So, these brake covers make that whole process way easier! Simple to use and works perfectly.

Wish I'd Thought of Them first! Great for long distance travel and degreasing...
Ok, so bike disc brakes, or more specifically the pads. Yeah, so you don't want to get stuff on them that might ruin them....like, oh I don't know degreaser. Life ordeals like rain, and spray and dirt and grime, no big deal with some rinse water and even some warm dish soapy water, but if you do degrease your cassette, deraileur wheels, crank and chain from time to time, you don't want any of that process getting anywhere near your disc or pads. If you left the plastic dork ring on, then well you probably don't need something like this. Or if you don't do a final wipe down with a ceramic type finish spray, well, you may not need it. But if you did cut that plastic dork ring off (and all the reflectors), well, then now your beautifully exposed rotors are at risk of such chemical contamination. So just buy these and be done with it. Or just take your wheels off every time you wash your bike (and disassemble the cassette, and unlink your chain so you can degrease them)...

Great product and very prompt delivery and communication
Getting fed up with trying to avoid disc contamination when degreasing drivetrain or lubing chain I searched for better solutions. This product does the trick and completely protects the disc and braking system. A little effort required to fit but fairly straightforward and once on it provides great protection.
