Rock on Dad's
This amp exceeded expectations. It came rated about 30 watts higher than advertised and sounds like it. I have this hooked up to a newer head unit with three outputs F R + SW. It is pushing Fosgate 7" coaxial and 6x9 three ways. The speakers are rated to handle the wattage but when I push them I fear blowing them. It is very apparent this amp is pushing them to their limits. Installing the amp is straight forward. I can hardly express my faith in this product. In my teens Fosgate was the primo amp and speaker set up. Well out of most of our price range while bagging groceries or flipping burgers. In my late 30's now, and restoring/customizing a car, I have decided to install something nice and uniform throughout. I was quite surprised to see the affordability of this amp. I will purchase more Fosgate as a result of the performance of this product.I do need some base to balance out all this noise. After hearing how this entry level amp can push four speakers to their limits, I am confident in purchasing a higher output version for pushing a couple of subs, Fosgate of course. I cannot wait to balance out the sound. If you are replacing factory speakers and pushing new ones with this amp the acoustics may be as such that additional bass speakers may be optional. My little fiat spider was not designed for acoustics. This line receives criticism for its poor performance or lower quality, but it is an entry level product. I don't believe I will win any competitions with this or my future set up. However, I know that so far it is loud and my kids think I'm nuts for cranking up Ice Ice Baby at the stoplights. My 15 year old even said it's already louder than the "cool kids" system, and dad wins some points for being a little crazy. It's also pretty cool to pull up to the gas station and turn heads of the local collage and high school kids with the Beastie Boys, Prince, Ozzy and pretty much any annoying 80's song my kids hate. I'm considering upgrading my trucks system as well with this same amp. Just to hear what it sounds like in a newer vehicle. In summary, this is a great amp for driving your front and rear speakers. You may even use it to drive some small bass speakers. Although it is an entry level amp, it provides quality sound, exceeds promised power, and has a nice price point. I am brand loyal as a result of this purchase. So to all you dad's out there driving mini vans and small SUVs, tired of thinking how to up some cool points to that chick repellent your driving. Or to the moms reading who like their daughters music but won't admit it. Buy this amp. Buy some speakers and travel back in time when you ruled the road by sound. Don't forget to tilt the seat back!

Nice amplifier!
I got this amp to put in my boats stereo. I had a new head unit and speakers that I installed last year and wanted to add some more punch to the system. This was easy to install the directions were awesome and this little amp does a great job of making my system rock. I am very pleased with the performance to price ratio and would recommend this to anyone not in need of a kazillion watts to run their stereo. Very clean sounding and no pops or hisses, I like the way it turns on only when the head unit starts playing music, very nice. I have this driving Kenwood 6 x 9 five way and Kenwood 5 inch 3 way speakers and it sounds awesome. Would definitely buy this again.

Great amp
I have this running off of my factory head unit in a Nissan Versa. The rear channel is bridged powering a 10” sub @ 4ohms. The front two are powering all four door speakers wired for 2 ohms per side. I use the fade on the head unit to adjust between the doors speakers and sub. I feel this is a really good setup for such a small car. The only thing I would change about this amp would be to add an auto signal sensing on feature, and have it be 2 ohm stable in bridged mode. Everything else is awesome. I have it mounted under the driver side seat so I ran the remote on wire from my 12 volt socket in the center console. Mine came rated at 403 watts, and gets a lot louder than I thought it would.

Good product
This is my second speaker amp, I used to run them on a kenwood 5-channel previously.Definitely an upgrade, this amp has plenty power (received it rated at 485 rms, awesome!!) and my speakers sound amazing with it.As said by someone else in another review, it is loud, but definitely not infinite loud. At the same time, this isn't even close to "oh my factory system is loud bose/beats system bro", this will tear it apart.Every good product has it's cons:The first issue I had and still have with this amp is screwing it. My system is very tight in my trunk. The holes on the sides of this amp can't fit nothing but a straight up screwdriver, and even with one, it's such a pain to get the screw through the hole. Seriously, it is awful, so awful I haven't even figured out after two weeks.. The second thing I noticed is how hot it was after a ride. It's not close to melting at all, but compared to my mono sub amp, it gets hot at a fair volume through time. However, you're spending your money correctly on this. It is well made and will probably more than you expect.I'd definitely consider this amp if you have less than 1500rms of subs.

Rockford Fosgate R300X4 prime 4-channel amp
Great little amp. I installed it in a 2002 Jeep Wrangler about a month ago; it weren't no easy task but she's high and dry and out of the elements (top and doors off) and it turns my feet blue at night from the little blue LED power light. Road noise? I don't hear none anymore! I have it installed with a pioneer head and pioneer speakers in the dash and on the bar with a kenwood compact sub woof with amp under the driver seat... great sounding little setup and massages my back and butt at the same time! Without the fosgate amp hooked up i wasn't able to get above road noise (without doors) without a lot of distortion from the radio but with the amp connected this is no longer an issue; sounds are crisp and clear; running most music through a 2nd generation iPod touch. With the soft top and upper doors on makes the plastic windows crackle but this can easily be remedied by a little more volume and if the metal parts start acting up even a little more volume takes care of that, too. Even old country sounds sound new again. At any rate, ROCK ON!!!
