Hello for those who burn games for Sega consoles (mainly Saturn) you would recommend me these cds?

Yes. They work for Sega CD games. Burn at as slow of a speed as your burner allows.

Will these discs work in a standalone home cd recording deck?

Yes, the claim to fame with JVC Taiyo is the fluid ability to work well with various firmware. Rated 100 years archival. They are truly the best on the market and its a shame that they shut down the entire facility in Japan due to an ever shrinking recordable disc market. Get them while you can.

Are these discs compatible with a stand alone home CD recorder?

The simple answer is "yes." They are designed to be used with a Thermal Printer recorder, but work fine is a standard CD recorder (standalone or in a PC tower.)

Jvc taiyo yuden stopped making these a few years ago, so where are these coming from? are they even genuine?

I cant speak for the other re-sellers but I was one of the few direct customers here in the US. I was given a heads up before production would stop indefinitely. I placed very large QTY orders that I have been fulfilling to my customers ever since. I package the tape wrap product in a custom box with label to ensure safe delivery. Hope this allays your concerns. You can buy with confidence. It wont be around forever. -Mike
