Nicely contructed, fit perfectly, smell nice.
This is my first pair of shoe trees. I have a pair of US Men's size 7.5D Allen Edmonds Park Avenue Dress Boots. These size "Small" trees fit perfectly, and might fit a size 8 Allen Edmonds shoe as well. The spring is pretty well compressed in my 7.5, so fitting anything smaller than a 7.5 Allen Edmonds may be difficult. Allen Edmonds sizes their shoes more accurately than others, I wear a size 9 sneaker in most brands, but 7.5 in AE. Other dress shoes might be sized more like sneakers, YMMV.I would describe the construction of these as "as expected." The cedar is nicely shaped and the surface is smooth. The spring seems adequate for the task and they smell great. If these ever wear out, I will most likely buy another Houndsbay set because I'll know what size to get and the quality seems good.
