What best before date is on this 1kg packet of mint fondants?

Are these sweets really soft

No, they have a firm texture, I suck mine and they then soften and last a while but others bite and chew them quite quickly!

How many mints are roughly in this 1KG packet?

In excess of 110. Just counted them but have already taken 2 or 3 handfuls out of bag. I have ordered this item a couple of times previously.
