Works as expected
Pros:has extra RCA outputs for amp and subwoofer not mentioned in description(which I use to run into a Bose iPod dock radio for a little extra high range) iPod input,cd,radio all work well, sounds good at low to 3/4 volume.Cons:3/4 volume and above can get an occasional crackle with high bass settings and/or songs,NOT a true two way speaker, they are dual cone right on the box,you will need to buy speaker wire and connectors and liquid electrical tape to keep them from flying off on the first wave you hit. Cover looks cool but won't stay open on its own,I have an older boat and still feel it was worth the money,it does go quite loud, and mono sound doesn't bother me.bass is also good, receiver picks up stations I didn't know I had with a piece of copper wire stuck in antenna spot(wrap with electrical tape to fit hole,let1/2 inch of bare wire stick out to go into radio ,approx 2 feet or less total length hidden under dash.

Works great for me.
Don't people research this type of stuff before they purchase it? I bought one of these with 4 speakers to use on my fishing boat.Everything works excellent. Decent enough sound quality. Installation is a breeze. For me the SD card function and AUX port are awesome. Nice bright display. Works for me.The down side, controls take some getting used to & can be confusing, as in like to many options. The remote control is a line of sight device, meaning you have to have it pointed directly at the radio, but it does work from a distance. After 2 years on a boat I'm surprised the remote hasn't fallen in the lake anyways.Would I recommend it? Sure, decent price and value. It's a great deal for a boat with an outboard setup because the power consumption is very low. My old radio got pulled out because of it constantly draining the battery down. This one does not. I can listen to for two days while I'm fixing up the boat on the driveway or working in the garage and still not to have to worry if my batteries have enough charge to hit the lake when the phone rings.

Poor Quality Product which matches Pyle's equally Poor Customer Service!!
Purchased and installed this "Marine" unit in my new center console boat in December 2013. This kit was clearly marked as a Marine Unit and came with an enclosure to protect it from the elements. This was the reason we selected it for purchase. After 6 months in real life marine environment the radio power button is sticking when pressed and has resulted in this radio turning itself on and running the battery down between uses. This has happened 3 times and we have had to resort to unplugging the power from the back of the unit whenever we park the boat to prevent this from happening which then loses all of the station and clock settings. In addition to this issue, the speakers appeared to be a good marine grade however again within 6 months the center emblem where the Pyle name is prominently displayed, have rusted completely and this is the first thing you see when boarding the boat. While cosmetic in function why are they using metal that rusts on a "marine grade" product, (Maybe it should have stated fresh water use only!We contacted Pyle customer service and they promptly responded the following day and stated that we needed to send our receipt and they would "see what they could do". We sent our receipt and never heard from them again. We have sent multiple emails to Pyle customer service and provided receipt copies and again stated our concerns and no response. 45 days later still no response. It appears the only way to get their attention may be to just remove this radio from the boat and return it for warranty! Our advice at this point is to stay away from this company as the quality is poor at best and their customer service backs that up with equally poor response, if none at all!!

Great sound, easy to use.
I needed to replace the stereo and speakers that were in my boat, but didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a new system. I decided to go with the Pyle complete marine system and I am very satisfied with it so far. It took a little time to install since it was going in a 99 Bayliner, it wasn't an exact fit but with the help of my brothers we were able to get it installed and it looks great. I like the cover, it helps keep it clean and dry. The sound is impressive for what I paid. My one brother is an audio junky, his house system cost thousands and he was impressed with how the Pyle system sounds. We've tested out the durability of the system on the lake, cruising around and hitting waves and it has held up well.

WORKS PERFECT IN MY BOAT
I read all of the reviews and I was worried about how this product would work.the price and what you get with it swayed me to buy it anyways.took my time followed the instructions and installed it. took about an hour.works great I couldn't be happier with it. I run a 115 2stroke outboard motor and I can hear the radio over it, even at top speed.just make sure you buy a Marine AM FM antenna because you need it to finish installation unless of course your boat already has one.and a final note FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS and you shouldn't have any of the problems that anybody else had.

Nice sound
For amount paid sound is good but USB input does not work with iPhone tried with Pandora Internet radio and just searched for device then not compatible. Aux out works great so made it happen. So in a nut shell it works great for a day on the water and loud enough to hear over my Etec 200 at 20 mph.

This system is just as good as the rest
Don't know what everyone with two stars or less is bitching about. This system is just as good as the rest. Sure it is some weird name I never hear of until a few months ago but I replaced speakers on my travel trailer and just bough this system. Bottom line just pull the trigger. It all works well just one recommendation, by a standard antenna and it tunes very well.
