Beautiful timeless tones and stunning quality
The quality of this film is unmatched. It produces timeless photos with gorgeous, natural skin tones and a soft, airy look. The grain is beautiful, and the colors feel classic yet true to life. It’s the only film I like to use—absolutely worth it every time.

Beautiful skin tones and great in bright light
It's nice to find a big pack of Portra as its pretty expensive film to buy just one roll at a time. Portra has been one of our favorite films so far as the grain is small and it handles skin tones wonderfully. I use it often for portraits, but also nature photography as I like the way it also handles greens. Does really well in bright light conditions and tones down the harsh light. Struggles more in low light situations (as expected from a 400). We accidentally had it go through a CT scanner recently at the airport and thought it would be demolished, but it came out perfectly fine - nothing ruined.

A really great film
I have shot about 20 rolls of this stuff, so this review has been long in the making. And my final word is: Kodak Portra 400 is a really great film. It's not too punchy, it's not too muted, it's very accurate reproducing colors, and has GREAT latitude. Accidentally overexposed three stops? No problem, you most likely got the shot. Set the ISO to 1600? Don't worry about it. Don't even push the film. It will be fine, with little extra grain. This stuff is EXCELLENT, and amazing for portraits! Use this film along with a low-light lens like an f/1.4, set it to f/2 or under, and underexpose a stop or two, and you will get DREAMY portraits. I give it 4.5 stars, because I wish it was just a little bit more punchy, but that is a very minor complaint (and I complain too much.) I'll just mark it with 5 stars.

A little strange
I really love portra 400, but this pack of 5 had some strange rolls. Two of them gave me really hazy colors, the rest turned out fine. Those two were developed in two different labs, but there's always a possibility that its a mistake on their end. In any case, the rest gave me great results and I just finished shooting the last one about a month ago even though I ordered this package about a year ago (I saved them for special events). Worth buying 5!

Filmes estavam vencidos
As fotos ficaram horríveis. Dinheiro jogado fora. Não recomendo.
