A lovely Quran Journal.
I wanted to wait a month after purchasing and using to write a review on this journal, even though I loved it instantly. I’ve searched high and low for a Quran journal and there aren’t many out there that I like. This one is just what I needed for daily reflection, aA.At the top of the page it has the theme of the ayat (e.g. forgiveness) then the chapter and ayat for the day to study. There is a section to write the ayat in Arabic, which is helpful to get back to practicing writing in Arabic and reading it in Arabic. There is a section to write the translation of the ayat and then a separate one to write the tafsir. Lastly, the last two section allows you to write how you would apply this ayat to life and whatever else that you feel like writing and then a little dua to either end your day with or start your day with (depending on what time of day you journal. What I really enjoy about this journal is that it encourages me to open the Quran and not just read one ayat and call it a day. However, I end up reading a few ayats before and after the assigned ayat to get an idea of what is going in the chapter and why it was revealed to the Prophet PBUH. I read somewhere that you can’t just study one ayat in the Quran to capture its meaning, you have to study the surrounding ayats to get an understanding. That’s what I enjoy about this journal, I am encouraged to open the Quran, I am encouraged to read a few verses from it as well and I can reflect on it. It’s also useful to go back and reread the little Duas I wrote for any day that I may need inspiration. It’s also really cute!I hope this review helped you in your decision to buy this journal!

Mashallah
Got this in the mail today! I am SO excited! It’s sad that some of the reviews left mentioned that they were disappointed because you had to put work into this journal, needing a Quran and researching the tasfeer. Subhanallah we as Muslim should be putting forth this kind of effort to read and understand the Quran in general! To all my reverts like me or those who are struggling Insha’Allah it gets easier for you and that you find the desire to learn more about Islam and the Quran. If you need a Quran you can find one at a masjid or order one online or read one online. ❤️

Helping Me Get Closer To The Quran
In the last year, I have made an effort to get back into the tafsir of the Quran. I love journaling and have always seen friends of other religions with workbooks/journals for study and always wished we had those things in Islam. I was so pleased when I saw this Quran journal and bought it immediately; it arrived the night before Ramadan!I have only done a few pages so far (I do one in each section, to rotate the focus of study), but I LOVE the journal. It really makes you think about what you are reading as you have to use multiple books to properly understand and write about the tafsir and its application to your life.I would definitely recommend this journal for everyone but especially for anyone who wants to grow closer to understanding the Quran.

The best journal to reconnect you with the Quran!
The media could not be loaded. This is an awesome journal if you’re looking for a guideline to help you stay connected with the Quraan all year long. It has 356 ayaas that were placed into 17 general themes; like forgiveness, the day of resurrection, soul, paradise, angels, etc. I’m planning to start using it this Ramadan insha’Allah, and hopefully I can continue all the way till next Ramadan. I’ve been so busy lately, and have always felt guilty about not having the kind of constant connection with Allah that I wanted, and I really think this is what I’ve been looking for all along, to help me connect and stay connected to the words of Allah. Thank you so much for this wonderful journal!

Simple yet allows you to research
I agree with those who said that it's a very simple concept all pages are the same and it almost does maybe seem not quite worth it but I have taken each day the time to look into the tasfir behind each ayah provided and although the first topic is forgiveness and it covers multiple pages with the same kind of similar verse when you research it really does give you different information unexpected information like the background context behind the verse when it was revealed and why ... it's a very good learning tool as well as a reflecting tool

Great Guide to Thinking about the Quran but Weak Binding
Update**I have been using this journal for several months now. I have really grown to like the journal despite my initial lukewarm reaction. The journal consists of mostly empty pages with boxes where the user can copy the Arabic Quranic line, the English translation, the tafsir, an application box and a duaa box. While at first I felt that the prompts (boxes), were a bit general, upon further use, I find them perfect. The prompts are designed to get you thinking about the Quranic line by by copying the Arabic lines, translation, and tafsir before you begin to really reflect in the application and duaa box. I personally use the application box as personal reflections on/interpretations of the ayas in question.I like that the journal is designed by topic (a certain number of pages on a topic before moving on to another topic etc), even though I might have chosen to include different topics. When you work through the journal by topic (like forgiveness), you start to become more oriented to the nuances in the Quran by seeing how the same concept is represented using different words and different grammatical forms etc throughout the Quran. One addition I have made to the page is writing a range of ayas. When you're reading the Quran, you probably don't want to consider one line in isolation. I would recommend reading the whole Sura if it's short or reading some lines before and after the chosen aya to get context. For me, I then choose about 3 - 5 ayas to copy into the journal and explore. While I think that the cover is simple and beautiful, the binding is a bit weak; my cover has become permanently bent upward after the first use despite leaving it under a heavy textbooks to try to force it down. Overall, I think it's a good journal, but it should be hard cover (hence the four stars).I would definitely recommend this journal!
